cnosil
Interesting to see that the LPGA is imposing fines on players for slow play. I knew that they impose stroke penalties but have never hear if a player actually being fined especially multiple times. If the pGA is serious about fixing slow play they should actually penalize players. https://golf.com/news/lpga-rookie-massive-slow-play-fine-10k/ tony@CIC 1 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe Backup Putters: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W, TM-180 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
Papagayo
I think it's a good idea to speed up play.. Sad that it was Yealimi, but she accepted and agreed with the fine.. tony@CIC

They honestly don't seem to be too concerned about it. Their lack of action tells me that. I don't get it, but it is really hard to watch, at times. tony@CIC and cnosil 2 Quote Driver: Epic Speed 9* (set -1) MMT 70X 3W: Tour B JGR Recoil 760ES 3H, 4H: Tour B JGR 19*, 23* Recoil 780ES 4-AW: Tour B JGR HF2 Modus3 Tour 105 SW: RTX Zipcore Black Satin 54* LW: TAIII Black 58* Putter: Scottsdale TR Senita Bag: BigMax Dri Active Lite Ball: TP5x or AVX (yellow) Pushcart: BigMax iQ+ Testing Complete, Final Review Posted: Sub70 TAIII Forged Wedges

That was a pretty substantial penalty for her. Perhaps they should have just limited it to her earnings, since she's 5K in the hole for playing last weekend not counting other expenses Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300

Page 69 has the PoP policy, and includes fines based on number of "bad times", starting at $5000 for the second bad time (first is free) to $10,000 for the third and each subsequent bad time. There are also fines for simply being out of position badly enough to be put on the clock. As far as I remember, the PGA Tour has never announced the fines for slow play, or any other fines. cnosil 1 Quote Irons Titleist T200, AMT Red stiff Rogue SubZero, GD YS-Six X T22 54 and 58 wedges 7-wood 5-wood B60 G5i putter Right handed Reston, Virginia

But when you're winning millions of dollars, a fine of 5 or 10 grand isn't a lot. Stroke penalties would be more of a deterrent, if they actually did invoke that part of the rule. But its pretty dang hard to get to the point where stroke penalties would be invoked. cnosil and Sevefan 2 Quote Irons Titleist T200, AMT Red stiff Rogue SubZero, GD YS-Six X T22 54 and 58 wedges 7-wood 5-wood B60 G5i putter Right handed Reston, Virginia
Sevefan
Yeah, they'd only care about the stroke penalties. The beauty of a stroke penalty is that it's also a $$$ penalty, unless it's Friday and the guy knows he has no hope of making the cut.
