Yea I'm going to have ole Rufus T Coaltrain on standby with his John Deere.  I'd hate to tote my electric cart back to my truck. 🤪

I was thinking about that.  Run out of juice on the 14th and have to get it back to the Stable!

Being that it is a Lithium battery I don't think that will be an issue. I know with older rechargeable NiCd batteries as the batteries lost charge the device would perform less (ie my old Makita drills get slower as the battery charge decreases). I think the benefit of Lithium batteries is that they maintain performance until they just stop working due to low charge. I have not see any decrease in performance as the battery got low and I played almost 3 full rounds on one charge.

Just an observation though on the speeds is that the numbers are not necessarily the speed setting on the ground but I believe more the effort put out by the motor (amps maybe?) I notice that on uphill if i want to maintain speed I need to increase the speed setting and vice versa on downhills. Also notice that on the same speed setting, the cart will move slower through rough than fairway. Has nothing to do with the battery level though.

I noticed that too yesterday when I pulled up the hill back to the practice tee. Now it was pretty loaded with 16 clubs my Skilz trainer balls and 4 bottles of water. I had loaded 40 balls in the 2 side pockets. Had to kick it up to speed #4 but that was because I was catching it but I believe it would have made it in 3rd gear.

Now someone brought up about the traction. It is an limited slip diff and if one could see the remote work they would understand, Basically it is set up to spin the wheel with least resistance. Sorry Jeep and hot rod fans it ain't a Detroit Locker or pin locked rear end. But it has to be that way to function like it does

Ya'll keep your fingers crossed as I go for round #3 without a charge today!  I'll take a pic of battery indicator post round to show bars/bar remaining.

Had fun with the MotoCaddy until the 16th hole. Battery was deader than a road kill possum. I had to push it back in and although it's doable, keep in mind the M7 is stout! Two days max for me henceforth and I'll probably end of charging it after every round.  It's so simple and the piece of mind you get is worth the effort.

Here's a little video explaining the battery test outcome. 😉

At least it wasn’t far to push!  No more of those experiments with Seniors.

Are the courses you played on very hilly? I think the battery life really depends on the course conditions and your average speed setting used. Also if you are criss crossing across the course looking for your ball...xP

Yea it's has plenty of hills in my neck of the woods to climb etc.   Maybe Florida where more of the courses have flatter terrain it would have made the 3rd 18 without a hitch.

I have seen some reviews online saying the beverage holder breaks easily so will report back on that if it happens.

Great pics!   Mine came yesterday evening and I will be taking the box to the golf course today and take a first and look at these goodies.

We had a huge rain yesterday so it will be interesting seeing how the M7 navigates around during soft and wet conditions.  I'll report back post round.

Well mine got delivered and as Brian said these are packaged really well just like everything else that has come from Motocaddy. The first thing that I noticed is that even though these are plastic they are really heavy duty and well made. You can tell that they were built to last.

The installation of all 4 pieces only took a couple of minutes and I've attached some pictures that show how it goes together (along with my dogs that needed some attention). Out of all 4 pieces the only one that didn't lock in with a screw was the cup holder but it seemed to be pretty secure. A couple of things that I think are worth pointing out is that the phone holder is adjustable in multiple positions which is great because I will most likely use this to take a few videos of my swing on the course. It also expands pretty wide and will fit my samsung s21 ultra with an otter box on it and that says a lot because it's pretty big. Also from the pictures it was hard to tell, but the scorecard holder actually flips up and goes under the clear plastic to protect it from the rain just incase.

Not at this point, but possibly in the works.  It's a nice feature to have, but definitely something you have to get right!

I've had folks at my course ask this same question so I'm looking forward to this being answered myself.

A short video of my M7 crossing a spillway. 😳

Pretty steady as I have found mine to be. LOL forgot to mention that wheelie bar is useful. The other day when I had mine really loaded I "gooched" it going up the hill to the practice tee and if not for the wheelie bar it would have flipped over backwards

Yea the wheelie bar should be called the wheel of thrill!  I've had mine do a few wheelies and I know my mouth popped open like a kid in a snowball eating contest.

It is great to see Motocaddy commenting on these posts, seeing interaction with the company while our testing is going on really does speak to an involved approach where results do matter.  Didn't really happen with the product I tested and it is building confidence in the product and company.

The only thing that seems to be missing that I use regularly on my push cart is a loop or a ring, something that a D-ring can be clipped onto to hold keys or clip on a brush or a towel and such.  I golf with nothing in my pockets besides an ID card, an extra ball, tee and divot tool.  Everything else goes in the golf bag or hangs on the bag and push cart.

Cup holders really need to be bigger than standard as even some regular size aluminum cans are a force fit into a regular can holder (they are perfect size for slim cans I never buy) and big enough for insulated 20oz mug would be exactly right, I don't think anyone will ever make one for a travel coffee mug so it doesn't turn over and spill out the contents.

The OEM interaction is definitely a Plus.
The Testing/Feedback is taken seriously by Motocaddy.

Yep it does have a great power to weight ratio. Now I learned something yesterday. I had gotten in a hurry ( Lord only knows why after all I am retired) and had installed the accessory pack. I had the bag loaded pretty good. I did not click the bag in properly which was entirely my fault. Also had an umbrella installed and open. I started up the little hill by the range and hit another speed. It jerked and the bag shifted up and on the wheel it went hard!!  It held fine and I realized my mistake and properly locked in the bag. Also learned something yesterday. If you have an Umbrella up and get a bit of speed the Caddy will wobble and on the remote you have to make corrections. It would be more stable there if you are on what I call manual with hands on the steering so to speak.

Answered another question for myself yesterday---- With the accessory pack installed the Motocaddy stores just as nice as without it. Like the accessory pack. Everything worked great for me. Even though I did not play the scorecard holder came in very handy. I was doing an evaluation on some clubs I had built and for me I have to tinker and adjust. I take notes but anyhow the scorecard holder worked great with some file cards I had. Really worked good could stand under the shade of my umbrella drink cold water conviently located and use the little writing platform.

Thanks for the heads up on the umbrella Stu!   If a really strong wind pops up you'll be like Mary Poppins out there flying high. 🤣

Now that is an image... 🤣

With the extra weight down low compared to my gear and setup, I imagine the Motocaddy cart would be stable in strong and gusty winds similar to what I have experienced in winds strong enough to make the ribs of my 72" umbrella push inward on the windward side and blow the rain horizontally making additional rain protection not just necessary but essential.

Well it never was in danger of tipping over because it was loaded. Had about 16 clubs plus my Skilz Trainer and Pro Striker. Had 4 bottles of water in the bag cooler and one in the cup holder. LOL it was sorta slipstreaming and like in an airplane I had to make a trim tab adjustment by flicking the left right buttons.

Thanks for the feedback! The XL cup holders just came in, we’ll be getting those out to the testers next week!

This brings up a good question, can these be charged via a 12v charger in the car?

Thanks for answering the question @BIG STU! I took all of the accessories except the phone holder off to store it and haven't had any real issues.

@Motocaddy said he is expecting some of the bigger cup holders to be sent out soon. I did try and put my 20oz stainless travel mug from Starbucks into the cup holder and it barely held it. Actually, while walking with the cup in the holder, it flipped over and did exactly what you mentioned, spilled out. It is a bit tall though so most likely the standard cup holder is not designed to hold a tall travel mug.

Pictures of the score card holder with the slide out tee and ball holder since nobody mentioned it yet.
