But I did tell him that like anything else if you got complacent it will jump up and bite you in the butt. I will say this the Motocaddy will get unstable to an extent at high speed. We learned it when I had the great golf cart race between it and a gas EZ GO down our #1 fairway. Had one of the owner's sons driving the gas cart and I was riding shotgun with the remote. LOL had the supplied cart bag with old junky clubs from the cart shed. Think I was going to put any of my prized Macgregors on there on that nutball test? I about turned it over 3 times then and we concluded it was unstable on our course at WFO. I had a lot of fun with that thing in my test. One of the members did ask what became of R2 D2 ? I told him it was in the Tennessee hills being wrung out. The ones I play here in Phoenix all have routing through trees/bushes and uneven terrain. Coming off tee boxes you wind through areas over tiny pebbles and many times can't even use the remote as it is too twisty. Same for the trip between greens and the next tee. The only time I could use a follow function is straight down fairways. But I have been using remote carts for over 25 years so it is second nature to me and just don't think I could ever switch to a follow mode. sirchunksalot and cksurfdude 2 Quote Driver: Qi10 10.5* ... Majority of caddies use the Motocaddy M5 when they double bag. I have a competitors remote power trolly for the past four years and came away from my trip fully impressed by the Motocaddy. If Motocaddy ever starts a trade in program I will definitely use it to purchase a M7. Remote is the way to go and I like that Motocaddy is water resistant. Have you seen degradation or are you still getting what you need? Anyone replaced the battery? @ole gray @BIG STU I had to put walking aside after some issues with my knee. Part of the cement holding the Knee Replacement part was coming loose. He said curtail walking or you'll see me for surgery sooner than you wish. Right now I'm riding 100 percent of the time. Up until I had to stop walking every round the battery was holding up and charging just fine. I'm thinking the battery life is like 5 or 6 years but don't hold me to it. Another questions if I may - do you have to remove the battery to charge it, and/or fold up the cart? In some of the videos in this thread I saw it being removed before folding - I just wasn't sure if that was required to be able to fold up the cart. I've got an Alphard eWheels that is dying on me and I'm considering replacing it. Looking at the plus/minus of the different carts. Northern Monkey
You don’t need to remove the battery to fold up the cart. I remove the battery to charge it as Motocaddy recommend you charge it after each use. I have to say I wouldn’t be without my M7 now and would highly recommend it ole gray 1 Quote Driver: G430 Max Fairway: Mavrik 3 wood Hybrid: Mavrik 3 hybrid Irons: Mavrik 4-AW, Wedges: Jaws MD5 50 and 56 wedges Putter: Odyssey 2 ball Ten tour lined putter Ball: Chrome Soft
