Hey @GolfSpy_THVit looks like you can’t choose the event on the app or on the we site now. Maybe a bug? 
 

I had no trouble yesterday when I played but today it isn’t working.

Thanks for the heads up - I'll investigate!

**Update: I am still able to setup a round and tag the event appropriately. Make sure you edit your round before playing and click Tour Events and search for it.

If I already played this week, is that why it might not show up for me?

Need a ruling!  Is the fringe considered fairway for a par 4?  Normally I wouldn’t care but I’m gonna enter my scores from my round but don’t want to score that hole incorrectly.

I would say yes;  since It should be fairway height or maybe a bit shorter.  if you hit the green on the par 4 I would also count it as a fairway hit.   This is how I would list it when scoring for the LPGA.  

For the record on a par 5 if you hit it in 2 and them putt off the green on your 3rd I would still count it as a green in regulation

I was leaning this way but then thought the other way. Technically the fringe wouldn’t be fairway on a par 3.

I chose to not count it as a fairway hit. I decided that since it was the back fringe(rolled through the green), that I was past the hole design.

First round as a Grint user in the books  The app was very easy to use, but I did think of one opportunity for improvement... they should consider adding the ability to track/report "adult beverages consumed" per nine.  It is probably just as helpful in explaining my round as GIR or total putts

Correct,  but it would still be a missed green;  don't count fairways on par 3's even if there is a fairway.

Interesting! It was my understanding that it was not setup that way...but I've been wrong before!

Didn't get to do it on my King Island trip, only one mobile carrier on the island, and it wasn't mine!  I'll do it at my home course next weekend.

I entered a round on the website and just now went on to enter another and it doesn't show up in the same dropdown menu as it did before so seems to be similar.

I am about to enter my round, but I have question about the tee accuracy for par 3s.  On my app, it defaults to “hit” when you enter a score, and the only options are hit, left, long, right, short, and shank for any hole.  How has everyone been entering that for par 3s?

You can leave the par 3s alone as they won’t count as fairways hit and your number of putts relative to score will give you your greens in regulation.

I enter mine as if I hit the green or not. And if I was right, left, short or long.

Well....weather doesn't seem to be cooperating for a Wednesday round.  Supposed to be low 40's and rainy, not my cup of tea, especially for my first round back.  Should be able to get out next week and make the deadline.
