If you have friends, REAL friends that is... there is no better answer than:

source.gif.b6cd27b5ff3bcfb46b0d3567769434e4.gif

The humble Minivan. Sadly that GIF is not me, in spirit maybe.

My humble Honda Odyssey faithfully carries 3 friends + Myself to NH and Maine every year for 2 golf trips.  It holds all the clubs, luggage, food, adult beverages, and other necessities one could need for a weekend of golf.

Plus it does this in comfort and with absolutely no style at all.  So no one expects you to be good at golf either.  😉

That is the Bisimoto 1000HP tuned Odyssey. His shop is here in SoCal and actually met him and his wife at a nearby sushi restaurant during a lunch break! Cool guy and I do have an Odyssey...The new Odyssey's have lots of style and with the V6 it actually keeps up with some 4 cylinder driving punk kids thinking they will beat you to the merge!

I'm still trying to figure out how to strap a set of clubs to a motorcycle ... doesn't necessarily need to be the Harley brand but a cruiser would be awesome.

Finncycles anyone?

I really want to buy a mini-van since renting a Chrysler Pacifica last year for our golf trip, 5 people, all clubs, luggage, coolers, everything. Super comfortable, was a hybrid and we got like 50 miles to the gallon. Man I want one badly!

Then get one! You know you want to...

This topic is near and dear to me as fitting a full set of clubs in a cart bag, with a push cart, is a requirement of any car I own. Interestingly, I find sedans often work better than SUVs because sedans usually allow me to pace the cubs across the trunk behind the wheel wells. SUVs usually have much smaller pockets behind the wheel wells that prevent this possibility. A great example is my BMW 3 Series as compared to BMW's X3.

For the record- The new Supra will fit a full bag of clubs and a Clickgear 3-wheeler.

this is the new Supra? cant really tell from the picture...thought it would look wider

I’ve been trying to find an EV the past year or so. Very few pass the golf club test, nevermind two sets of clubs. Hoping some new stuff comes out that will fit a couple bags.

The F150 Lightning is the answer my friend.

Not a lightning but got this for golf and fishing. Disclaimer, boat is not mine but definitely helps to trailer a friend's boat to get on the water. And with a box on the rack, you can load golf clubs and carts in the bed and fishing poles in the rack box at the same time!

Well, any minivan, but most men don't want to go there.  3 years ago I was shopping for an SUV and had picked out one based on research and looks.  I took my clubs with me and they wouldn't fit without folding down the rear seat so I didn't even drive it.  Ended up going up one size in the manufacturer's line up.

Most SUVs have less trunk space than a sedan. Just observe the distance from the back seat to the rear end…I’ll keep my Audi A4 SEDAN!

A number of years ago I was living in Ireland for a few months and decided to take a short trip to St. Andrews.  Made car rental reservation with an outfit at Edinburgh airport and said, yes, a Ford car would be acceptable.  Upon arrival I discovered that the reservation agent had said Ford Ka not Ford car.  Upshot was that my clubs (in a Sun Mountain carry bag) had to ride at angle in the back seat because trunk was too small!  Like others have posted, I always take my clubs and push cart with when looking for a new car — odd looks from salespeople but golfers among them instantly understand.

A side note:  was lucky enough to only wait 30 minutes as a walk-up single to get on the Old Course, and Carnoustie is the hardest course I’ve ever played.

I prefer a nice sporty hatchback or compact AWD wagon for both transporting my golf clubs (and those of at least two of my golfing buddies) and for my musical instruments and band gear (I am a bass guitarist).  I’ve driven this car from NJ/PA to Myrtle beach with two golfers and their gear for a week-long golf trip, and it was VERY comfortable, plus it held our bags/suitcases, snacks, cooler, and provisions …. and the other guy was 6’5” tall and about 275 lbs.
