Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s foursomes pairings.  I don’t see how you leave Finau on the bench after that performance, and Bryson might have earned a spot too.

That the US is up 6-2 with only a half point from Thomas and Spieth is pretty remarkable.

Strick is committed to the data, so I won’t be surprised if it seems like his pairings don’t make sense based off today’s play.

I haven’t seen Saturday mornings pairing yet but Rory sitting out is a good idea in my opinion.  He needs to get his head straight AND needs a partner to feed off of.  Just my opinion…

Fun question - how much would you pay for a PPV experience for each golf major plus Presidents and Ryder cups to cut out the commercials?

I would be easily tempted with $100-$150.

Justin Thomas was electric yesterday! He really hid some big shots to keep himself and cantlay in the second session. Talk about playing in emotions. Underrated team of the day is the finau and English combo. Talk about going out and getting things done for the W.

+1.  I've never done a PPV for any event.  My current $46/month bill for TV (Sling + Acorn) is more than enough.

NBC needs to get it together! Nothing on screen as far as the current match they are showing! Poor coverage in that respect, need to show players and what hole and who is ahead. They could leave that in the top left of the screen as they’re doing it right now  we have no idea. Would be way more enjoyable to watch if we knew what each Shot meant!

I have nothing to contribute other than I'm having a blast watching this, match play is so fun to watch, and I want one of those Team USA hoodies. Unfortunately, the $300 price tag combined combined with the fact that cashmere and I don't mix is stopping me.

... Thank goodness for at least sportsmanship from the players. It is pretty embarrassing listening to US fans cheer missed putts or good shots that roll off the green from the Europeans.  They have even boo'ed good putts made from the Euro's. The European crowds are very knowledgeable and cheer good shots for US players and rarely (never?) cheer bad or missed shots. I certainly don't mind over the top cheering or chanting "USA!" for good shots but a tiny bit of class from the crowds would be nice.  

... That said, like everyone else here I am really enjoying the course and the golf!

Unfortunately it is, more often than not, the few dipsticks that ruin so many things. Worse, it makes it seem like that is representative of the patrons at large.  I'm not a fan of the modern fans; at sporting events as a whole but especially golf.

Who would have guessed an almost exact repeat from day 1's morning results.  Really did not think Rahm & Sergio could make the comeback - impressive.  The Koepka/Speith paring this afternoon should be interesting.

Anyone else getting tired of hearing "world #1".  They must easily be into triple digits on that phrase .  Speith/Koepka are leaving lots of coin on the dance floor.  That round is 2+ hours thru 6 holes... maybe they need to try and speed the Spaniard's up a bit.

#12 only playing 154 yards to today's back pin location (further back than this photo).  Left to right wind. Quite an intimidating looking hole.  Pete Dye must have been treated poorly through all or some portion of his life .

I was thinking about what club I'd hit and my strategy.  7i, left aim point for fade to the front, fat section and hope for a quality 2 putt.  How about you?

You should have heard the guy sitting next to me at the Rays game last night.

I’m enjoying watching the golf at a course I know fairly well. I’m astounded at how well these guys are playing, particularly at their ability to get back into a hole after missing a green or fairway - that place is brutal when you miss a green.
