What a difference in Lydia vs. the rest of the field. I felt sorry for Nelly who just couldn't putt yesterday and having to play with Lydia who was making all of her putts.

They brought up a stat about Lydia that over her last 100 holes she has 1 bogey and is 38 under through her last 5 rounds. That is absurd! O and for those who've forgotten (me included) shes still only 23!

Lydia and Brooke do it on all their shots;  it isn't just for control like most other players.    If I remember right,  it was because they learned with clubs that were too long and they got used to the choked down feel which is why they don't cut their clubs down to proper length,

For Brooke it was long and heavy.

The announcers touched on Lydia last night that she also chokes down even more for distance control and her caddie has notes on how far each club goes based on how much she chokes down.

Lydia's ball striking was so good on Saturday. She always seems to be so relaxed too. I think this is showing up to be the year of the comeback.

I recall that conversation on the back nine yesterday. The announcer pointing out she had choked the wedge down to the bottom of the grip as her caddy was advising her of the distance. . 

The other surprise yesterday was the rookie from Ireland - Mcguire. She had an intensity about her that even exceeded Lexi's.

Maguire is a good golfer. She had a really good college career at Duke. Several good stories this year on tour. Saso is going to be interesting to see what she does. Interesting comment on her was she was the only person other than Kupcho to shoot in the 60s at Augusta in 2019

Looks like Lydia got game and she passed the field.  Was pulling for Nelly, sport the new Titleist driver and fairway.  Congrats to Lydia.  Korda holding her own, number one on tour.

Just remember guys - next week's event: Hugel-Air Premia LA Open starts on Wednesday as well. Based on this week's leaderboard I expect some interesting challenges.
