I bought a Divot Board off their site and got free access to their members area and have to say, there's some pretty good articles in there. I also agree with @fozcycle, the forum has some great discussions that focus a lot on the mental side of the game as well as equipment, etc...

Jon really has some good deals on there too for the items he recommends.

  • 2 years later...

I got Jon's book for Christmas and devoured it. Well done and some really great advice in there.

image.png.93becc65f920022e1e40f027cca143b0.png

He's starting a video series and he does a good job of putting things into perspective.

His first video is out and IMHO worth a watch:

they're not quite ready to launch yet according to the email but sounds like it will be soon.

I set out to create a video masterclass. Many of you have expressed being coached by me directly, and doing this course was the best way to offer it (since there is only one of me). Initially, I tried doing it myself, presenting slides on my computer. But I wasn't happy with the results.

So, I've been working with a production company for several months to create a more professional, polished presentation. And I am ready to give you a sneak peek at the finished product.

You can check out the official trailer for the Four Foundations of Golf Masterclass here.

We are putting the finishing touches on the website right now, and it will be available for purchase very soon.

In addition to the core course, I am building a bonus library with content from other coaches I trust. You'll get access to recorded conversations, video practice drills, performance games, and more. With the introductory offer, you will get lifetime access and benefit from any further upgrades I make to the course over time.

Stay tuned for an email in the next several weeks announcing the course launch with the special offer for the first students.

Have a great day,

Jon

Very interesting video.  He is so right.   Am going to adopt the 2/3 approach in managing my expectations and see where that takes me.

He's starting a video series and he does a good job of putting things into perspective.

Was gonna post that same info, so .. I second what he said! 😄

"The Four Fundamentals" should be required reading for all golfers, imo, it's that good. Much of it will appear "old hat" to many of the experienced members on here, but it's a great compendium of hahaha practical knowledge of the game.

The first part of the book (ie the first fundamental) is "Expectations Management" .. presents a lot of statistical evidence, eg Broadie and Stanger, to illustrate why regular golfers put too much pressure on themselves!

As Stroker Ace mentioned Jon is working on a "Master Class" video series based on the book .. which will be for a fee, one-time I think not subscription .. with him directly explaining the various concepts he's developed.

His website has a members area, but I haven't used it; there is literally a wealth of great information available for free in Jon's blog articles .. which are organized by topic. Check it out!

In case anyone is interested - the introductory offer is out.

https://fourfoundationsofgolf.com/masterclass?utm_medium=email

I am excited to announce that my Four Foundations of Golf Video Masterclass is now available for purchase!

This is your opportunity to have a one-on-one coaching session with me, where I will teach you everything I know about becoming a happier, better golfer in a matter of hours.

For the past eight years, I have been listening to all of your problems. The Masterclass is my way of showing you how to find your own answers.

The course is a series of video modules you can watch at your own pace. The format is very conversational and visual, which will shorten your learning curve.

Additionally, I've added a ton of bonus materials from other coaches, including interviews, practice videos, and performance games.

Right now, I am running an introductory special for the first students. This is a one-time charge with no ongoing fees. Best of all, you will get lifetime access and benefit from future upgrades in content or other features (there might be an online community eventually).

I am so confident this course will change your perspective on golf and give you the tools to coach yourself that I am offering a 60-day money-back guarantee. I know the golf industry constantly promises you quick fixes, but this is your chance to invest in your game for the long term for less than $100.

Eventually, I will raise the price because I jam-packed the course with so much value.
