Do we want to take odds on if or how many people make it? X-factor is the wind: how strong and from what direction? Prevailing winds should be right to left with a little hurt?

I'll take one for the team and use @Yellow Ball with the first try. If it ends up in the pond, we don't have to listen to him the rest of the day. If he ends up in Tony's dining room, he can hang out with Tony's wife.

The only way I'm getting across that is if we postpone this until February, and I get some bounce off of 6 " of Ice covering the pond.

In addition to #1, you'll need it for 4,5,6,8,14,15,16. Of course the other option is just bring another doz.

Have they got the broadcast towers and grandstands in place yet?  Really looking forward to the post round interviews with Amanda Balionis. As for hole #1, I say ya'all go for it and invoke a special MGS lateral drop, no penalty rule.

Did you catch my early morning interview with Amanda on the Golf Channel? She had to come early so that she could then drive over to Wisconsin for that 'other' golf event next week. Unfortunately @The Hatand @Yellow Ball will arrive too late for an interview.  Note the cameras are positioned for the airway shots that way guys can hit a breakfast ball without the camera catching it - however, I'm sure the cameras will catch multiple balls drowned on #1.

You missed a great time! Could not have asked for better weather and the course was almost perfect (punched greens notwithstanding).

Lots of pics from today's event.  The course was in great shape. Putting - at least for myself and our group wasn't the highlight of the day. I keep telling the guys - good thing the greens were punched and sanded otherwise they'd be a lot faster. I saw some spies playing holes from adjacent fairways. Some spies playing from the water, and some getting a shower while trying to hit there next shot. Plenty of balls were drowned. No windows broken (my wife thanks you) and no boats damaged in the harbor from errant pitches. A great day and looking forward to attending outings next year.

Hi guys! Thank you @tony@CIC for asking @MattF to come out. It was nice to be able to ride in comfort at a fancy club rather than bounce around at Windmill Lakes.

Matt let me drive the cart, well, I steered because I don't have feet to reach the stop and go things.

 

I cheered the guys on at this post 3...someone went on the water and it wasn't Matt.

I didn't see my friend @Yellow Ball so I think he was in the group behind me.

Well Matt got me home safe and hung me up until later this week.

We've had an eagles nest there for several years. The 2 young ones (brown heads) are almost 2 yrs old and ready to fly away.

How fortuitous that we met up on the 19th instead of this week. That meant the difference between wearing shorts and parkas. We've had 2 solid days of rain - fairways and greens have been under water, wind has been blowing like stink. Today's forecast 55* and wind chill 45* Brrrrrrrrrrr. We're leaving for Florida late next week - maybe not soon enough..
