They let me wear them at Royal Melbourne, so they should be ok at most places

Hopefully I have a little more of my "game" figured out by then so I don't make a mockery of myself and our group. Between lessons, playing a few times a week and my garage setup....I have swung the sticks more this year than in my entire life combined LOL!!

Just saw this thread and thought I would throw my 2 cents in. I live on the far west side of Cleveland and I play in a Wednesday travel league and all these course are great in my opinion:

Brookledge

Thunderbird...both North and South

Eagle Creek

Ashland Country Club

Akron GoodPark

Chippewa

Ellswroth Meadows

Windmill Lakes

Pine Hills

Little Mountain

Shale Creek

St. Denis

I can also tell you where some of the cow pastures are

For one of the best golf experiences try Venango Inn in Venango Pa (about 20 miles south of Erie) We make 2 trips a year, the first this Wednesday. Heres the deal...lunch (fantastic), golf with a cart, dinner(to die for)...complete day maybe $60

We have a Wednesday 'travel' group but generally only go a max of 45min from Catawba. Last week we were at Plum Brook, next week - one of my favorites; Eagle Creek.

I've yet to play Ashland and Little Mountain. St. Denis is fun but if I'm driving to Geauga I'm playing Chardon Lakes or Punderson. Windmill is great and so is Sugar Bush. Akron area I like Rain Tree and Turkeyfoot.
