GenglerJ
Hey all you Ping fans. I'm hoping things loosen up and you all get your sticks soon. My custom order took 9 weeks, and I finally got around to swapping them into the bag. Can't wait for this weekend. Here are my previous sticks if you know someone that fits the specs. On 9/1/21, my PGA pro fitted me and I ordered 5-U G425 irons, G425 MAX Driver & 3 wood and a PING Hoofer bag. I was told 8 weeks for delivery by the Pro and the last 3 weeks have seemed like 3 months. I guess I just want to ****** a little, but If delivery is anywhere near 8 weeks, I'll consider myself lucky. Meanwhile I'm still hitting Taylor Made irons, a Cobra driver, TM tour burner 3 wood, hybrids and wedges and a PING putter that I will be sticking with. All of my current equipment is between 10 and 15 years old. Bottom line is that I don't have much confidence that I'll get what I ordered in 8 week, COVID still sucks! Well to my surprise, I received my PING G425 driver and 3-wood today on October 1st after ordering on September 1st. Still waiting on the 5 thru U G425 irons but feeling better about the whole situation. fixyurdivot, mikeanthony and GenglerJ

darkjedisteve
Ordered Ping I210 5-UW, power spec, blue dot with AWT stiff on 06/01/2021 from 2nd Swing because I had a $200 in store credit. Was quoted 8-10 weeks turn around time. Checked order status after 9 weeks, was told the AWT shafts was out of stock until mid August. Checked again end of August, was told shipping will be late September. Checked again a couple of days ago, was told due factory delay in Viet Nam, ship date will be Nov-Dec. Cancelled order. BostonSal
Delivery problems in golf equipment seems to be something that we're just going through right now. It involves several manufacturers, and worst case scenario, may cause some of the smaller ones to go under. I have always enjoyed keeping track of the offerings from Louisville Golf, for example. Louisville Gold has almost no inventory right now. At least half the products on their pages-- probably more than that-- say something to the effect of, "coming back soon." Will they be? I sincerely hope so, but I have my concerns. mikeanthony 1 Quote Louisville Golf Persimmon___2, 4, 5, 7-woods; Epon AF-906___driving iron; Titleist T100 5, 6, 7, 8, 9-irons; Titleist T100S___48°; Edison 2.0___53º; Titleist SM-9 (T)___58º; Tad Moore Otto Hackbarth___putter; Titleist Pro V1x___ball

But they will still work as good as if they were received this year and for most clubs very rarely is there significant improvements year to year especially in irons so most people waiting aren’t missing out on much unless they are playing drivers 5+ years old or irons that are 7+. Mr. Shankenstein
Work on the retail sales side and order custom clubs every week, always love it when the customer gets upset that the expected delivery time is 4-6 weeks or more and their reaction is to "go somewhere else to get them sooner!" Good Luck! Let me know how that worked out for you.... sixcat

Dave Silbar
Hey guys. I work for a Chicago area (reputable) custom club fitter and we were told that due to factory COVID closures in Vietnam that Ping has no idea when they can deliver either the 710 and 425 irons. I have one customer who is now on his third month awaiting a set of 425s. Papa Tango
Took bout 7 weeks total, but here's why. Ordered through my local PGA pro and asked for a mid-size grip for my G425 Max driver. Ping was out of stock so THEY STOPPED ALL ACTIVITY ON THIS ORDER! They did not contact my pro. Once my pro contacted them and told them to install any grip they had in stock, I got the driver in two days. I use a jumbo size grip so was going to have the driver re-gripped as soon as I got it anyway. Frustrating. Quote Ping G400 woods, hybrids, irons. BladesRbetter65
Ping is not the only one having this concern. My Zunos took about 6 1/2 weeks, but my PXG driver took 5 days because Fed Ex sucks with personal orders lately. UPS and Amazon are killing them. gmbmtl
It is not just Ping , all companies are having major issues delivering on time. If it isn’t heads , it’s shafts or grips. The golf business has boomed due to COVID but the companies have not been able to follow. Quote GMB
