Finger tape

I really dislike golf gloves, as such I get callus's (sp?) On a couple fingers.  I've tried many types and brands, most are great about 70% of time.  But once I start summer (sweating) they all start slipping.  Have to replace sometimes during round.

Any one have ideas, better brands etc?

With the subject of finger tape and you post about gloves I am a little confused.  

but my best answer would be:  you can put tape on your fingers to help with the calluses; Tiger puts tape on his fingers.  If you dislike gloves, don’ wear one.   I just recently went back to gloves but played for years without one.   For summer I usually play using a rain glove or you can switch when one gets too wet.

Most summer rounds in the DC area are 2-3 glove rounds. Rotate a glove every 3 holes or sole while the others are handing from the cart drying. Never put the glove in back pocket during the summer.

Try the Mokom Glove. I haven't picked up one yet, but that is my thought for this summer.

I use tape if I have a blister or a cut that is catching to keep from tearing them back open and I take my glove off between swings and while chipping and putting.

I use the cloth tape used by athletic trainers. It stays put even in Georgia hot humid summer rounds, it is a ****** to get the glue off your fingers when you take it off though.

I use Johnson and Johnson Coach Tape. It sticks good even through summer sweat.

I use Nexcare by 3M. Waterproof, soft and stretchy. Stays in place and works very well for me. Can buy at most grocery stores or drug stores.

@golfnut3567Meister Athletic Tape, but really any cotton based athletic tape will work. It's easy to tear right down the middle to get the prefect width you need.

I tried Nexcare, definitely a comfortable tape, but it kept ripping during range sessions. I do grip my clubs very tightly though.

Mueller and Johnson&Johnson are a couple of other brands. I bought a box of J&J that is 1 inch wide. Works great for fingers and is narrow enough that it does not bunch up around the knuckles.

Bandaids. I have a callus/hump on right ring finger from rubbing my golf glove. I use fabric bandaids even in Houston summers and most rounds, they stay put through the round.
