I would say the RDX Black. Its pretty stiff throughout which I like as I have alot of torque in my transition so the firm/stiff handle feels good to me. gavinski91
At this rate we're all going to end up with different driver shafts! I was able to test both the Fujikura Motore X F3 S and the Aldila Rogue Silver 110 60S. The Fujikura was spinning up around 4000 rpms for me, and the Aldila brought that down to a more respectable 2700 rpms, which gained me an extra 20 yards or so of carry distance. The question then becomes what shaft do I go with in the fairway woods? My plan is to go 3W-5W-4hy. The only FW shaft I was able to test was the Motore X F3. It worked ok, but given how much better the Aldila was in the driver I wonder if I should bite the bullet and go with that in the fairway woods as well. Seems like all the other testers so far are going with the same shaft in their driver and fairway woods, should I do the same? I think they are both great shafts, both mid-mid types which should be good for you in a hybrid. Both look really sharp in the bag as well. I don't think you can go wrong either way. I can't give a direct comparison because the flexes were different (I played the 480 in stiff while going to TX in the MMT), but I might give the 480 a slight edge if you like a more "active" feeling. The MMTs to me are very linear in the way they release, and I don't feel a pronounced kick point in them. And, FWIW, I had the Rogue Silver in both my driver and 3 wood last year. It's a good shaft, especially if you need to kill a little spin. gavinski91 1 Quote Unofficial WHS Handicap: 7.5 / Anti-Cap: 13.0 (Last Updated Feb. 19, 2024) Driver: Callaway Paradym TD (10.5°, -1/N), 45.75", Fujikura Motore X F1 6X | Fitting Post 3 Wood: Cobra RadSpeed Big Tour (14.5°), 43", Fujikura Motore X F1 7X 20° Hybrid: PXG 0211 (2020 Model), 40.25", Mitsubishi Tensei AV RAW White 90X 4 Utility: Cobra KING Utility (2020 Model), 38.5", Aerotech SteelFiber i110cw Stiff 5-PW: Ben Hogan PTx Pro, 37" 7 Iron, Aerotech SteelFiber i125cw Stiff | Club Champion Fitting 50°, 54°, 58°: Edel SMS, V Grind, Nippon Modus 125 Wedge| Official Review Thread Putter: L.A.B. If so, was there an appreciable difference in feel? @jlukes and I have the opportunity to game the Copper finish in the MIM irons. Looks like @jlukes decided to not go that route, but I am highly considering. I have my fitting next Monday at 1:00 PM. Hoping the copper finish doesn't distract me too much and fits my eye. Oooh, that's interesting. I assumed they were not an option. Very interested to hear what you think even if you do not go with them. Go for it! I’d be curious is they are raw copper or protected? Wedgie
Did they give you guys ordering clubs lead times? I know if I try to order it is 10 plus weeks for a stock set. It's time to update my single lengths but I hate waiting. mikeanthony, russtopherb and GolfSpy BOS 3 Quote Wedgie Driver - XXIO X Driver 9.5 - Launcher Turbo 2 hybrid - F9 One Length 3-L - ER 1.2 Top Flite Gamer Play Right

It's time to update my single lengths but I hate waiting. I'm wondering the same thing, although I'm sure an OEM is prepped and ready to support a test like this. I did notice the guys are being asked to list 4 different grip choices; I'm guessing supply issue? (I'm sure no one is complaining though...)
