Instead, I had to try and hit a flop shot out of the rough up onto the elevated green - but the heel of the club got caught and closed the face and I cleared the green into the bunker on the other side. So then it was a hard-packed bunker shot onto a narrow, downhill green that rolled right off and back down to where the last shot was. Finally got up on the green on my third try, and then 3-putted. This was after all, his first potential eagle. 10 minutes prior he had no idea this moment was about to arrive. He was in the midst of the CCC#3 use every club in your bag before you could use the same one again challenge. He had strategized for this upcoming par 5 and had driver available. A well hit tee shot with a helping wind gave him a real opportunity at reaching in 2. An opportunity that he quickly seized with a well struck approach that left about 20' for eagle. Now, on the green, an eagle truly within grasp he focused on the putt like a magnifying glass on an ant. He took aim and struck the ball pure, on pace and on line: With the arrogance of a Greek god he started walking it in as it approached the cup. And as the ball slid past the hole on the high side, he knew he had failed. That life was not fair, that his efforts would not be rewarded, and that maybe had worn square toed golf shoes he would have made this putt. Mtbryant01
I got to play on back to back days Friday and Saturday. Working with Arccos has been great so far. The Link might not catch a shot or two from the entire round, but it's easy to go in there and add a shot after I complete the hole or round. Learning a little better how to go back and edit the shots around the green, moving the flag to the correct position, etc. One question I have for the people that use the Link. Mine died with 4 holes to play on Saturday. It was fully charged on Friday, I didn't charge it between my rounds on Friday and Saturday. Does the Link really die that fast for y'all? I didn't like having to use my big iphone 12 in my pocket the rest of the time. Popular Post null
Walked 18 in the heat and humidity this morning. Absolutely brutal. Couldn’t get the Arccos link to acquire a GPS signal on the first tee so resorted to my Apple Watch which surprisingly easy to use and didn’t cause any major issues. Had to do some editing after the round but no missed shots so that was great. Brian A, LeftyMatt89, MattF and 7 others

No, mine has even been sitting in my bag for a week and still worked for a whole round. Silly question, but do you turn it off after rounds? Is it kept in a bag in the trunk of a car? I hope that had nothing to do with it. I’ll charge it up and see how it lasts this time around. I have an extra charging cord in my car, and when I remember, I’ll plug it in while driving to the course, then while I’m on the range warming-up, usually about 60 min worth of charge, and has shown to be enough to cover a round. GolfSpy BOS
@Brian A and @jlukes Last year I was sitting there waiting for the e-mail and text notifications… finally getting one… then realizing at delivery it was only PART of the order! I was sitting there looking at the tracking going wow they got it all in one box? So you might have 3 or 4 “longest waits in golf” to go through. For all the testers, have you needed to make any changes to your orders? Or does it seem like the shafts/grips/heads you all ordered are going to be available? Cant wait for the competition to get rolling! sirchunksalot, cnosil, Brian A and 4 others 7 Quote Epic Max LS 10.5 - Motore X F3 6X | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | TSi3 20* Hybrid - KBS Proto 85S SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 ER2B | Pro V1x | NX9 Slope | Jones Trouper R | CaddyLite EZ v8
