Shaft weight? What weight do I need?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am currently using a titlist 913D2 Driver with a 60 gram Stiff shaft I hit it about 280 and am a 7.8 Handicap. Not looking to spend extra money on a fitting.

what shaft weight should I get?

I've tried a friends 70 gram shaft and got some more yards out of it.

How many extra yards did you get? Was it carry yards or total yards?

What shaft do you have and what shaft does your friend have?

To confirm you tried the friends 70g shaft in your 913?

Hi

I am beginner in the world of golf like I started a few weeks(meaning 2) ago.

To be frank I am very bad I have learned the grips from asking around but I am still not getting better.

So I thought  may be my weight distribution might be an issue.

I weigh around 59 to 60 KG and am using PXG 0811 X

And I dont even own a good utility Iron what should I go for in that category any review for utility irons.

Thanks in advance for any advice I get.
