Catching the highlights from today (no live coverage ). First I need to retract my statement following one of his recent missed cuts that "perhaps its time Phil make the CT his primary tour"... my apologies Sir Mickelson.  Second, I want to know who of you picked a Mickelson/Koepka Sunday final pairing.

What a cool story either of these guys winning would make.  So what do you think Phil's chances are? Chamblee puts him at a 20-30%.  I'm going to say 50%.

but seriously if Phil had 2 swings back today he most likely has a 4-5 shot lead, it’s going to be crazy tomorrow if the wind does turn completely around like they are predicting

And don't give up on Jordan shooting a 59 and getting the slam .  I would have put this in the same likelihood as a Mickelson/Koepka final pairing.  That's what is so great about this sport, predictably unpredictable.

Spieth has no chance. 

My prediction is that Phil falls apart tomorrow and Brooks takes it. But I hope I’m wrong. I would love to see Phil win this.

He's 7 back and a 59 puts him at -13, which could very well be the winning score.  A low chance perhaps but definitely not a "no chance"... stranger things have happened... such as tomorrows final pairing.

Love Phil... would love to see him win, but BK is a monster and I think he will win many more...

Would be a good story for BK too after that injury. Still amazes me how athletes in general make it back so quickly. I suppose if I had the staff and meal planners I could too but amazing nontheless

It would be Better than Most.

That’s what’s great about golf. You never know who will get hot and who will collapse - but both will happen. Whether one or more players will extend, or the winner will be the one who loses the least strokes. On Kiawah, it seems unlikely anyone will go really low (59, yeah right), or a 54 hole leader will run away with it. But you never know. Should be a good watch.

What would be cool if both Phil and Brooks catch fire like Justin Rose has today (i.e. -6 through first 11 holes for his round). Talk about coming down the stretch. Would be epic. Pulling for Phil.

I walked through the room with the TV on the tourney today and saw a guy balancing on one leg and changing his shoes out of his open car trunk.  Anybody see who that was and why they didn't have a locker with a bench for him to sit at? 

This IS a major after all!!

Saw Abraham Ancer hit a nice sand shot from awkward stance earlier. Sunday 65, 31 on front nine pretty nice. Could be interesting in a few hours for those at the top of leaderboard....

Didn’t play the course due to the price, but had drinks from the bar out on the patio and watched folks finish. Ate dinner there as well.

Agree - some of the chips/pitches he's hit thus far have been terrible.  Hoping he is starting to get a feel for the greens and might make a few.  He's not hit any long putts this week.
