Cobra Delivery Times

Hello, 

 

anyone had their Radspeed driver arrive? What was the waiting time from order? 
 

went with the custom shaft option which I’m guessing is slowing mine down..

This has been a common question for various companies. Seemingly all the OEM's are busy and seeing delays in delivery times. I am still waiting on my PXG driver and I was quoted 4 weeks, but could be much longer... in the end it is what it is. When did you order? Have you contacted either cobra or the place you purchased it to see a rough delivery time? 
Hope for the best and sorry can't give you a direct example on Radspeed, but knowing how a lot of companies are most are in the 4 week area?

Most OEMS are running behind right now, I was on Taylormade’s site over the weekend looking at the SIM2 driver..built one out and it was estimating delivery at June 24th.

Yeah was quoted in the 4 week window, just starting conversation about real life examples from Cobra just now. 
 

probably* going to order a 5 wood as well but if real life deliveries are a disaster I’ll go second hand.

A common major problem across the board to manufacturers/wholesalers/retailers and it is a worldwide issue.  Products coming in from overseas are just not coming in at a pace that can meet supply and demand.  It some cases it has been months, not weeks.  People have not been traveling during the pandemic and seem to be spending more on new equipment.  Knowing the situation as it is, I ordered a new driver last week from another manufacturer and did not even ask the delivery date.  When it gets here, it will get here.  My advice is to be patient.   Some retailers are saying mid July.

I deal with Cobra on many fronts.  Here for the CC5 and my regular job as a purchaser for our shop.  Many driver and FW are running about 4 to 5 weeks.  That can be longer depending on any particular shaft availability issues.  As well as grips.   There is a huge rubber shortage in many industries that is affecting a lot of s

I ordered a new RADSPEED a little while back in February/March. I received it in 3 weeks. Ordered through 3rd party and they ordered directly from Cobra. But like others have said all depends on what you ordered. Good luck!

I ordered a custom Radspeed as soon as they became available and it came pretty quickly. Still waiting on a club that I ordered in March from a different OEM. I guess that things have slowed right down.

I joined Dollar Driver Club this year and after I didn't care for my first driver, I initiated an exchange for Cobra Radspeed.  After about a little over a week of not hearing anything from them I reached out.  They stated it was delayed and they weren't sure how long it would take.  They did have a Radspeed XB on hand so I elected for that one in the same shaft set up.

I'm sure others would be interested in hearing about your overall experience with Dollar Driver Club, if you wanted to start a thread on it, I think it would be interesting to follow your journey with them.  It's a unique concept for sure.

I joined ddc this year and right now I'm in the 5th week of waiting to upgrade my tsi2 to a 3, not what I thought I was signing up for!

This is no knock on Cobra at all, but if you look at "Ambassadors"  & "Influencers" on social media they are getting their clubs right away. A social media person I follow announced that she was just signed as an ambassador for an OEM, she was fitted and got her very popular/out of stock clubs in a week. IMHO-I totally understand the value of promotion, but take care of you're paying customers first.

You're talking about one person vs. thousands of orders. It's not exactly the same thing. In that same logic, club companies wouldnt need to stock the tour vans and not give the pros their clubs right away either. Imagine telling Bryson, Lexi and Rickie their new driver will arrive in 4-5 weeks. 

It's the same with Golf Pride. They're advertising like crazy on social media and showing boxes of grips on Tour vans and yet they can't keep a Golf Galaxy stocked. It's annoying to see but unfortunately is how it is right now.

Regardless, I'd rather see Joe hacker get his clubs before a bottom tier Instawitterbook ambassador.
