Denny Vee
Anyone have these in their bag? I'm an 18 handicap and a senior golfer looking for an easier iron to hit.

Middler
Depends on what you're comparing them to, but the Hot Metals are designed to be easier to hit (easier launch, longer distance) than most other makes/models. I have Mizuno JPX Forged but a buddy just bought a full set of Hot Metal Pro irons - and he loves them! They're supposed to have better feel/sound than many other cast GI/SGI irons as well, but not "butter." Watchnut33
I have the previous version 919 hot metal irons. They’re very easy to hit and the ball comes off like a rocket from the club face. I have to imagine the newer version would be similar. For reference I play to about a 16 and mY driver swing speed is 100-105, 7i from my fitting was low 80s. TxMike3
I switched from 2016 JPX EZ Forged to JPX921 Hot Metals this spring and I love them. They are easy to hit, forgiving and long. I have the combo set with 4 and 5 Fli-Hi Hybrids and 6i - GW all with Recoil shafts. As reference I'm 72 and currently a 15 handicap. ClarkWGriswoldIII
Woohoo, picked mine up today. They came in 2 days short of 7 weeks after I ordered them. Can't wait to play with them tomorrow. They're so pretty I almost don't want to game them. LOL. By comparison, the Ping 425Max 7 wood I ordered the same day hasn't come in yet and they expect it more in the 8 week range.
