i get it, but Titleist themselves also denied the "S" update just a month ago....i called them directly to check on my order and was told "no plans" to update the S line for this cycle.

I understand im going on feeling at the moment and i will calm down. Im just disappointed as a lifetime Titleist guy

I’m betting the person you talked to either didn’t know of the release or was under some sort of nda or nda like because it hadn’t been announced to the public and therefore they couldn’t comment.

Imo you are looking for something that isn’t there so that as you said you can vent the emotions you are feeling

I love them.  They're the best looking Titleist iron release in a long time (outside of the 620 MB/CB lines).  I think the split cavity look is perfect for a players iron and would love a set of T100S.  I may have to give these a try when they are released.

Not sure how I feel about this release. No doubt the performance is there, but I'd need to see these in person to draw a final conclusion on the looks.

I am giving Titleist the benefit of the doubt that these look better in person but can see what you're saying. If we're judging just based on internet pics (since that's all we have), the i59 wins the 2021 looks crown IMO.

The real question is when are they going to make a CB Vokey.  The JP wedges had potential, but were obviously scrapped.  With the CBX wedges and Callaway with an offering, heck, you could even probably call the TM wedges of current a CB with the filling in the back…

Probably already sell well enough to need an extra line. - true.

vokeys are too good looking to mess them up with a CB version.

Never tried a combo set but I am thinking 4-5 T200 and 7-PW T100 would be pretty awesome.  I am thinking the combo option could be ideal for me.

Then I will have to sort out what shaft to put in to simulate the weight of my AMTs.

Oh... hello. I am also in the club of thinking the T200's look better than the T100's but I can see a 3-PW T100 set in my future... to replace my current T100 3-PW set. And I am definitely not the type of guy to change irons every release - these just look too good, and I'm thinking I could probably have a more optimal shaft fit... so why not?

Edit: Had a closer look. Not sure about the back of the T100/T100s irons and the textured strip of metal. I think that's why I prefer the look of the T200's despite definitely being a T100 player.

I have the U510 1 iron with Ventus Blue HB 9X. It's an awesome club. Do it! 😄

Why?  99.999% of the Am’s use some sort of CB iron… or should be at least.  I’m not talking some ugly looking thing, but to fit in with the 100-300 line.

I don’t think it is necessary. If you put the same shaft in a bladed wedge and a cb wedge I think in the majority of cases any difference would be negligible and come down to differences from swing to swing.

I think most people who think they are benefiting from a CB wedge are actually benefiting from the lighter weight shaft that comes in most of those designs. Of course you are going to swing a CB wedge with a 115 gram shaft a little faster than a bladed wedge with a 130 gram shaft. The results are going to be more ball speed, more spin, and more distance. That doesn’t necessarily mean more consistency.

But I also believe 99% of golfers could play blades in mid-shorter irons (7-PW) with the right shaft and loft for their swing speed to the same standard they could any other club design.

Agree. I’ve tried cb wedges and found no difference in results.

If people want forgiveness in a wedge then get a set wedge

If they are anything like the current T100's they will be a pussycat to hit. Scary to look at and nowhere near, say, T300 easy to hit, but not difficult at all. They are wonderful irons and definitely worth trying out - don't be intimidated by the looks 🙂

Could yes. I used to be in the blades or go home camp, so I understand your points.  I am currently playing the PING Glide wedge, which is a CB wedge.  I just think they are missing out on a marketshare by not offering one.

I still do prefer blades, but I’ve been gaming the T-100•S for a year now, and I don’t think I want to give up what these things are giving me.  A lower than outer space ball flight, forged feel, and fast ball speeds.

If they were to make a CB Voke, I would give it a try.  Think more like the TM Hi Toe rather than the super cavity wedges. Redistribution of weight, I have no idea what I’m talking about now, because I am not an engineer. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I would guess they would just say 2021 vs 2020 or 2019 much like TM did with the M1 and M2 for those 2 years/cycles they have the same name.
