Chip Strokes
im getting better and i’ve finally identified a ball that works best for me (Bridgestone Tour B X) but i still lose enough balls to make the premium price tag tough to swallow has anyone used lostgolfballs.com? i can grab a dozen B X for $23.99 in “mint” condition. if you’ve ordered from them, feel free to share your experiences, good or bad. CRW
I've used them numerous times without issue. There is some concern with the performance of used balls that have been sitting in bodies of water for extended periods of time, but I don't think you'll encounter many balls, if any, like that if you purchase the "Mint"/5A grade. I've never had any mint balls obviously underperform. I have seen some balls labeled 4A that look to me like they should have been 2A or 3A, so I stick with 5A grade if I buy from them. Curtis Atkinson
Since starting playing in October I've placed several orders with them. Starting with lower quality balls at the beginning and moving up as game has improved and I've lost less to see if feel of better ball is different. Even using their free shipping for bigger orders it's always been fast and I've always ordered the 5A category and found them in great condition. Only thing to know if you care about is the balls could have previous players markings on them or stamps from events (I've found these more on balls like velocity than nicer ones) but I haven't really minded that. tony@CIC and Chip Strokes 2 Quote Driver: TSi2 9.0* w/ Tensei blue stiff shaft // 3 Wood: TSi3 15* Tensei white stiff shaft Hybrid: GAPR Hi 3h Irons: T300 4-PW + 48* & 53*w/ KBS tour stiff Wedge: CBX2 58*10 Putter: KS1 Ball: Srixon Z-star // Bag: DLX Link to comment

fixyurdivot
I've never tried them but great thread/question and feedback thus far. I'm heading over to their website to do some window shopping . With regards to player personal marks, do even the 5A category have them? Never mind... now see on their grading scale they can have logo and player marks. tony@CIC and Chip Strokes 2 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review) AI-One Milled Seven T CH (Currently Under Product Test) Link to comment

Of all the doz's my wife has ordered - a few balls (not doz) have had company or course logos but never player marks Note: she does order yellow ProV's - not sure if that makes a difference in durability of the covers. fixyurdivot 1 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300 Link to comment

I buy from golfballs.ca which is related to golfballplanet in the US. I usually stick with AAAA because you will inevitably get some 5A balls that have large logos or marks on them. In my experience there is not any scrapes or gouges in AAAA balls or noticeable issues with ball flight. 4A Bridgestone can be had for close to $1/ball when they have sales. I bought AAA one time to see the difference and that was the level where differences in quality were most noticeable.
