Not my favorite event of the year, that is for certain. I'd agree with you there. It doesn't have much appeal to me either. However I did watch the 72 hole and playoff which was entertaining enough. Just wish the format was different or something that wasn't just another 72 hole stroke play event. Have teams, matches, alt shot or something to keep it more entertaining then well as I just said another 72 hole stroke play event. That being said congrats to the medalists on becoming Olympic champions and the forever memories that come along with it. 5 Quote as of April 15, 2022 SuperSpeed 2020 from 100-112 and climbing! If I lose a ball and find it, I can claim unplayable and then use two club lengths and not lose a stroke ? Not sure what you mean by not lose a stroke. a ball isn't lost if you find it. If you find your original ball, you can no longer use a provisional ball. You can declare any ball unplayable, take a 1 stroke penalty, and get relief. 3 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* set to 16.5* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 816H1 19* set at 18* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 5-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54-10S 588 58-12 Putter: Directed Force 2.1 Backups: 6330, TM-180, Milled Collection RSX 2, Bellum Winmore 787, mFGP2 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
PMookie 17,033
It’s interesting to see so many people say that golf in the Olympics could use a change of format. I said this months ago, and the broadcasters for the Zurich even said it on 18 when two teams were battling. Not many agreed then, but I think many have changed their minds. I definitely think it would give the event more intrigue. 1 Quote Driver: King F9 Speedback/Epic Max LS, Xphlexxx Busa 2 Liquid, XX stiff, 45” Fwy: Epic Speed 4w, MMT 80X Hybrid: X2 Hot Pro, 20*, Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 105X Irons: TR20 Tour P 4-10, Modus 130 stiff, +1” Wedges: SMS 50D/54V/58DModus 130 stiff, +1” Putter: EAS 1.0 All but putter have Lamkin ST+2 Hybrid Calibrate midsize built to oversize +

I'm not sure if rules have changed but I think an athlete can play for any nation that will have them so long as they meet "national" status... which, by most accounts, is not that difficult. 4 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)

It's a well known fact now that many Chinese families immigrate with their kids to other countries so they can be top there for olympic sports esp. table tennis and badminton. Like you might be ranked 50th in China but you'll be #1 in Zimbabwe. It just looks... weird. If you've been living there for a while or have a strong connection to the country you are representing, then by all means. But I've read about athletes who can't even speak the language, know nothing about the country and were just paid $500K to switch nationalities. But hey, people do whatever it takes. I guess I would be having the same discussion with my daughter, as to which country to represent, if someday she manages to play in the Olympics 1 Quote SpeedZone 9* w/ Aldila Rogue Silver 60 S X2 Hot 3 Deep 14.5* w/ Aldila Tour Green 75 S JetSpeed 5W 19* w/ Matrix Velox T 69 S OR Super LS 3H 19* w/ Kuro Kage Black 80 S JPX919 Forged 4-PW w/ Modus3 105 S Vokey SM7 50/08F, 54/14F & 58/08M w/ Modus3 115 Wedge ER1 34" w/ SuperStroke Fatso 2.0 Pro / H2NO Lite Cart Bag / 3.0 / NX7 Pro LRF My reviews: MLA Putter // Titleist SM7 // PING i500 // PuttOUT
