When I first heard of this new home lending company, I chuckled... who in the heck would/could do a home lending process on-line. Everyone should have to go through the traditional process of meeting with a bank loan officer and going through the drill - right? Times sure have changed . The tour moves from CT to MI and the Detroit Gold Club. To be quite honest, this course is one I know very little about but it has been there since 1899 and, during the heyday's of Motor City, was the place to be a member. Ok, I'm just going to come out and say it... this is the ugliest trophy on the main tour...come on Rocket Mortgage, up your game . Last years event was another of the early swoled Bryson overpowering courses frenzy, capturing the attention of the golf world. Clearly we now see distance alone is not the answer but the want for it has definitely increased as a result of his focus on this part of the game. Somewhat of a ho-hum field absent of many big names, the odds are high that we'll see someone from the middle of the pack hoist that gorgeous piece of hardware . So who's it going to be this week? He is the all time good guy marketing and hype genius who is a true gentleman on and off the course and treat his fans right always. Very good sportsman. Liked how he got a chair do Rahmbo's wife on the 18th when Rahmbo won the US Open. Rahmbo was the first player to congratulate Phil when he won the PGA. Now that Cam Davis has won, the rest of the year you will see these guys change their tour name: Cam Smith, Cam Champ, Cam Percy and Cam Tringale just to see if it makes a difference! Yep, definitely unlucky timing for his first bogey of the week. Definitely shaped up to be an exciting finish, much more so than it looked like it would be at the beginning of the day. Bubba gave it a good run, just started too far back.
