My bag from the forgotten past.

No judgment please. I haven't played more than a handful of times since college and that was 13 years ago. So this is what I'm currently carrying. 

Driver: Cleveland HiBore XL w/ Graphite Design YS-6+

3 Wood: Snake Eyes Viper Tour Black w/ Aldila NV

2 and 4 hybrids: Snake Eyes Viper Tour Black w/ Aldila NV

5-PW: Srixon I-701 w/ Rifle Flighted

50, 54, 58 degree wedges: Callaway X-Forged w/ Rifle Flighted

Putter: Yes! Marilyn.

I'm honestly in no hurry to replace any of these, but eventually there may come a time after my swing gets sorted out.

These ancient clubs do exist. I had them kind of spread around the house last night and didn't want to organize last night, so here they are. 

Marilyn is definitely the putter. Back when Yes! existed I was able to get fitted for it at their HQ in Colorado after I walked in saying, "I don't want a mallet, I don't want a mallet." I walked out fitted to a small mallet.

Nice set-up!!! A friend still plays the Hi-Bore XL and hits the ball a mile!!! I used to have a Yes putter as well, but I don’t remember the model. It was a blade…

The golfer is what makes the golf club shine.    But you don't want to see "my forgotten bag ", it and it's content are probably older than you 9 in fact I know they are older since I could guess your age by back tracking to your college years .

Memories.  My lost bag:  Original Titleist AP2S, 4-P, Titleist 915D2 9.5, 915f 17.0.....Ping Pal 4 Putter.....917D 10.5, 917f 15.0, two bulls eye putters.......have sold everything else...

I love that driver one of my new students has one. He let me hit a few with it. It brought back memories. Loved it when new. Never bought one because I couldn't justify a new driver at the time. Might pick one up.

Love to see someone else with a HiBore in the bag! Also - nice work with the lead tape strips matching the alignment on the putter   Is there more across the bottom?  looks like it in the picture, but hard to tell.  Did Yes! add the weight when you were getting fit? Or was that something you did later on?

i remember when the Snake Eyes came out, those were the bomb and the envy of all.

Almost the entire bottom of the putter is actually a layer of lead tape. I come from customizing tennis racquets for some pros around that time so combine that with a little bit of OCD and I made sure that everything was lined up. With tennis racquets I would go out of my way to hide every bit of lead that I could. Some pros are super finicky, so anything I could do to hide or minimize the appearance was a bonus to them. Yes added weight originally but it wasn't up to my level of OCD so I pulled it off, weighed it, and matched the weight with it done "correctly".

No judgement whatsoever. Two questions. Do you hit them well, and do you like the way they look and feel? Can you keep them in play and score with them? If you answered yes to both those questions, the set is perfect. If you hit them well and you can score with them, everything else is mute. @RichL85no judgement! Lotta golfers out there are playing clubs nicer than there skill level, myself included. Ive had my butt handed to me plenty of times by people with clubs way older than those. Also have a hibore xl in the garage in my “forgotten bag”.

Not a thing wrong with that bag---- Those Hi Bore drivers if it has the right shaft combo those things would go. Loud as heck but they would go. Snake eyes Hybrids IMHO some of the best hybrids ever made.
