tony@CIC
Driver distance accurate or guestimate on some courses? I played at a course yesterday where I had to setup the tee box in the App in edit mode. Since the tee boxes weren't setup and on some holes they were long, I assume that the driver distance is an approximate measurement? Since this is my first time on this particular course I didn't know where to move the starting point of the drive. Guess this question is more of casual interest then my being OCD, since I know have close to 100 rounds and pretty comfortable with the PAVG distance for my driver. Parshooter36
How often does everyone sync their V3 wathces? I'm on my 2nd year and only had to sync it once in the beginning after they remapped my home course. Last weekend I played a new course that my watch could not find. After contacting support, they had me sync my watch to update the course. When I did, there were updates for every course I have played. I went ahead and updated them all, but didn't notice any changes to the mapping on my home course when I played it this week. tony@CIC and cksurfdude 2 Quote Driver: QI10 Max Fairway: Sim2 Max 3HL Fairway: G425 Max 9 Wood Hybrid: 0317 5 & 6 Hybrids Irons: ZX4 7-AW Wedges: CBX Zipcore 50° 54° & 58° Putter: Array F-3 Ball: Q-Star Tour Yellow

Updates may not be easily noticeable and only be minor tweaks to a hole to make the data more accurate. For example one of the courses I play has rough considered to be fairway; I could report it and have them fix the mapping; most people probably wouldn’t notice or care about the change since it hasn’t been reported. cksurfdude, edingc, artful_golfer and 3 others 6 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe Backup Putters: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W, TM-180 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
Paul Hedrick
Today I completed my 7th round of golf with my Shot Scope V3. On hole 7 I noticed that my second shot was not recorded. My usual routine is to glance at my watch after I hit to make sure the shot was detected. It seems I forgot to do it this time. Previously when I thought my shot was not detected I would do a swing or two after the actual hit to make sure. Experimenting around a bit, I did find that if I touched the sensor at the end of the club to my watch band it would recognize it. So for the rest of the round that is what I did. artful_golfer, ryan.mzzz, cksurfdude and 2 others 5 Quote Bag C130, 14 way Cart Bag Driver TSR1 Fairway GBB Epic 5 Hybrid Epic Flash 4H Iron 2 iron Irons Launcher HB, 4 through PW Wedges CBX2, 54 & 60 degree Putter Seemore Si1 Putter Ball Titleist pro v1x Other

cksurfdude
FYI anyone who is not on the mailing list from ShotScope; a feature I just hadn't bothered to look at before but now I will ... Analyse New Courses Virtually with Course Hub Trying out a new course for the for the first time can be a great way of keeping the game interesting whilst also allowing you to experience new parts of the world and practice different styles of golf. However, it can be daunting too! With so many unknown variables ranging from the geography of the course to the condition of the fairways and greens, it’s easy to see why some golfers prefer to stick with their home course. Trying a new course doesn’t need to be such an intimidating experience with a Shot Scope V3, H4, or PRO LX + though. On top of the precise GPS data these products provide while you play, ownership also entitles you to use Shot Scope’s innovative Course Hub feature - so that you can get the lay of the land before even setting foot on the first tee. The Course Hub allows you to virtually view or join any course in the world, giving you the freedom to analyse each and every hole and eliminate some of those unknown variables – and nerves – which come with playing a course for the first time. It can even be helpful to use the Course Hub to devise new strategies for playing your home club. So whether you want to explore a whole new course - perhaps even in a different country - or simply improve your scores on a course you already know, the Course Hub is well worth a look. tony@CIC, MattF, cnosil and 1 other 4 Quote WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ... I think it is kind of weird but interesting at the same time. You basically go look at other peoples rounds like you do for your own rounds; kind of like shotlink for the PGA tour but you don’t get to see a composite view of where everyone went. I joined on course to look at the feature saw only a few rounds shared. The only potential benefit might be to see where you should play your shots; provided someone posted a decent round for you to review. Overall interesting concept but not something I would use. I already lost two sensors and had no extra remaining, so to the electrical tape I went. Couple wraps around each. They shouldn't come loose now! mine are super solid with golf pride mcc as well as z-cord. haven’t had to retighten any of them, a single time, ever. in any case, i applaud your ingenuity and super clean wrap job. looks great. i did have big problems with the stick on putter grip. i changed out of a superstroke to a putter grip with a screw hole and haven’t had a problem since. cksurfdude, edingc, tony@CIC and 1 other 4 Quote D ______ Ping G400 F{3|15} ______ Cobra King F9 X{3|19} ______ Ping G425 Hybrid I{5|24} {6|27} {7|31} {8|35} {9|40} Callaway Apex CF16 W{45|50} _____ Vokey SM8 W{54|58} _____ Vokey SM9 P ____________ L.A.B. ryan.mzzz
anybody else pick one of these up today? i got one for myself and my father in law for x-mas. they were discounted $20 each and I found a $10 coupon for the website. pretty excited to be honest. I like my shotscope v3 watch, so i’m giving them a chance to get my rangefinder business. if it at least matches my old bushnell pro x2 slope edition, i’ll be thrilled. if not, i’ll be returning at least one of them. cksurfdude and tony@CIC 2 Quote D ______ Ping G400 F{3|15} ______ Cobra King F9 X{3|19} ______ Ping G425 Hybrid I{5|24} {6|27} {7|31} {8|35} {9|40} Callaway Apex CF16 W{45|50} _____ Vokey SM8 W{54|58} _____ Vokey SM9 P ____________ L.A.B. In the past I remember a long discussion here about shots not being recorded and how touching the sensor to the watch band helped. That especially makes a difference for my chipping and putting strokes. tony@CIC, Paul Hedrick, ryan.mzzz and 1 other 4 Quote PXG 0811 XF driver Serene: 3 wood, 4 & 5 hybrid iron r7 Draw, Flex L: 4, 6 - 9 irons Wedges: RTX Zipcore 46 mid bounce; RTX-3: 52/10 wedge; and Tour Action 900 60* low bounce Armlock putter or E-2 Torque custom fit putter Tour B XS golf ball V3

Early on in this thread I posted a solution for SS counterbalanced grips. I snapped off most of the screw on the putter sensor leaving just a slight nub - which sets inside the weight, then used contact cement to glue the sensor to the weight. Going on my second season and it has never come off. Note: I play about 150+ rounds a year. Never had a problem with the other sensors on both my MCC+4 grips as well as the GP CPX ones. artful_golfer, cksurfdude, ryan.mzzz and 1 other 4 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300

Yeah, thin and the hard pack ground that is on my range is typically the issue. The undersized Star Sidewinders I use have a pretty big hole in the grip cap and are also pretty soft rubber so the threads just don't hold very well in them. tony@CIC, cksurfdude and MattF 3 Quote Unofficial WHS Handicap: 7.5 / Anti-Cap: 13.0 (Last Updated Feb. 19, 2024) Driver: Callaway Paradym TD (10.5°, -1/N), 45.75", Fujikura Motore X F1 6X | Fitting Post 3 Wood: Cobra RadSpeed Big Tour (14.5°), 43", Fujikura Motore X F1 7X 20° Hybrid: PXG 0211 (2020 Model), 40.25", Mitsubishi Tensei AV RAW White 90X 4 Utility: Cobra KING Utility (2020 Model), 38.5", Aerotech SteelFiber i110cw Stiff 5-PW: Ben Hogan PTx Pro, 37" 7 Iron, Aerotech SteelFiber i125cw Stiff | Club Champion Fitting 50°, 54°, 58°: Edel SMS, V Grind, Nippon Modus 125 Wedge| Official Review Thread Putter: L.A.B.
