Interesting watching they've already had a Chrome Soft X go way left.   Also, Tony mentioned something that during the wedge test, they had issues with Trackman not picking up the TM balls unless they turned the logo around.  Curious how that affects other simulators.

Heard them mention that the Kirkland spun a lot on low speed driver.

Yep - I believe Tony said the Kirkland has by far been the “spinniest” at low speed driver. Possibly a good thing for certain delivery tendencies and awful for others. I’m so very appreciative that MGS is doing this test. It is exactly why they get my monthly donations.

im very confused....this is the most boring streams ever....but also the best!!! very intriging but also very boring to watch, 

I really think we should have live commentary every 10-20 shots. That would make this awesome.....take live questions on youtube as well

They are answering questions on Youtube.  There is a chat portion;  Bennett and Matt typically relay the questions.   They also had a Q&A session on Instagram answering some of the common questions.

I like the fact they are trying “Refurbished” Pro Vs. I know they are garbage, but I would like to see how bad they really are. 

i just bought the new Pro Vs and will compare them to some prior version new Pro Vs and my regular gamer the Srixon Z-Star. Will be interested to see if I can tell the difference and whether it impacts my scores. 

I should note that I love the Srixon Z-Star. It’s a great ball.

I assume they will start the stream up again today.  It ran all day yesterday.  Probably sorting balls this morning getting ready for high speed driver testing.

The posted an update on Instagram.  Storm went through Scottsdale and they lost power.  Working to get everything setup and they will be live and doing updates shortly.

Log into YouTube and ask them.  They are answering most questions that are asked.  Los if standing (sitting in Harry’s case) around.

this was driving my daughter nuts yesterday, which I loved. She kept hearing the swings while she tried to nap. My office is the bedroom she's in while she's visiting.

I on the other hand was mesmerized by the process.

when i saw the data from day 1, i saw every ball lumped into a very tight circle which tells me all balls are pretty much the same off a robot.....I cant wait to see people argue over 200 rpms of spin which mean absolutely NOTHING....

if a ball takes a full minute to spin 6000 times (RPM) on a 6 iron shot, and you get spin degredation of 3% per second, you wind up with 70-80% of the spin....in those 7 seconds of ball flight, the ball isnt really spinning all that fast or all that much......im more interested in apex and decent....but from that huge cluster of color, it looks like all the balls are almost identicle.

Yep,  can’t wait to see the detailed analysis.  There have been mentions of high spin balls,  balls that are extreme outliers, ball speed, and carry distance.  Will be interesting to see if something like a Tourspeed could be a good option

This is probably my fav test of all that you guys do.. Love the info that comes out of it. We had to of all known refurbished balls are crap. They make a decent shag bag option and that is it.. Glad that you included them though.

i love this test, but i thought it would be more popular from a viewing stabdpoint.  I know its boring to non gear heads, but yesterday i saw only 20 people viewing the test

they should really have some live on going commentary from the data collection site and maybe a secondary camera near a green for when the wedge shots and 8-iron shots hit the green we can see how the balls react, spin and decend into the landing area....you can do so many things with this test to make it more viewer friendly.

Some gear heads don’t care to sit and watch video or day and some are off being productive in their daily lives and don’t have the time or the ability to watch a live stream

I really wish we had live commentary throughout the testing.  Ive watched ~ 5 hours so far and while boring AF, its also very exciting....strange way to describe it but i think were all dyimng to see the results......especially since a bad shot may actually be ball related......also dying to see the chromesoft data......
