So for the first time I am really and truly thinking about ditching the system entirely. I am going to reload and repair all the sensors and give it another go Tuesday. If that fails I do have a full set of unused sensors, but this may be my last season using Arccos. For reference I have never had a issue with them before. Their CS has always been great and I do like the system, but this has been a little much for me. I am going on year 4 or 5 with them and do hope things flip back to normal, but given the other options out there it may be time to branch out. This is almost exactly where I am at too! I am at my wits end with the missed putts causing me to slow play entering in the info, then when I am in the cart it keeps skipping holes making it very difficult to swipe back to the last hole to clean up their mess. I bought the Apple watch JUST for Arccos and I am finding the GHIN app to be a lot better. I am not sure what I am going to do either at this point. When the year was up, I just did not feel the ROI was there to pay for a year myself. Most digital apps (if that is what you prefer) are around 40-50/year for basic GPS style distances and scorekeeping. GolfLogix and GHIN are the two leaders that come to mind... Paying an extra 50 to get distances on every club while playing is what is attractive and keeps me drawn in. I play a lot year around so its super helpful to see distance differences as the weather changes and seeing real use data when trying different balls. Those are the items after around 3 years of paying for arccos that keeps me Quote G430 LST - Graphite Design Tour AD DI6 XS AI Smoke Hybrid 3 & 5 - LA Golf A Series 105 XS ZX5 MKII 5i-AW - 1150 GH XS - ChipR - Black SnakeBite 53 & 57 - Super Select Golo 6.5 TP5x Yellow / Left Dash / B X / ZStar

ThereIsOnly1
I LOVE the idea of this and the data it provides but it misses nearly all my chips/short shots just off green. That would be workable but when I know it missed a shot I try to go back to the hole and the app instantly goes to the next hole making it impossible to correct the score. The other annoyance is every swing the sensor nearly slides out of the end of the grip. Any suggestions tips or alternatives to Arrcos that I should try? When I bought the sensors you would pay something like $300 for the set and you got full access to the dashboard, caddie and everything included. There was no membership per year or x amount per month subscription model. It was simple, pay you get your account and you are good to go! Now it is much different and I will be honest looking at the website, not the most simple to find. However here are a few quick screenshots. So you can see even when buying the product you only get a year of membership. The sensors themselves are pretty cheap and depending on the clubs you have there are times where you can register your clubs and get free sensors for creating an account and I believe that is the monthly subscription with 45 days free. However if you want the account to stay open its say $15 a month. And again, it is almost a must use Apple or IOS system. The android platform is far less engaging and well on course it sucks. Maybe they have updated it, but it is night and day between the two. Quote as of Nov 6, 2023 (Past WITB) Driver: Paradym TD w/ GD ADDI 6X Driver Shootout! Golf Dawg
I’ve gone between SC and Arccos (buying/selling two SCs in the process). I’ve stuck with Arccos, since I’m grandfathered. Arccos still has problems with recording, but they aren’t as glitchy for me now. There are many things I prefer about SC (better/cheaper sensors, hazard location notation and less glitchy). I like the Arccos dashboard and features. Hopefully SC has improved that. Both have great Customer Service, at least in my experience. Very responsive and professional. The Arccos CS portal can be a PITA, but when you finally get someone, they’re fine. I think about going back to SC periodically, but have spent a lot on this process already. The biggest thing is that I have an Apple Watch, that’s linked to my doctor, and I don’t want to look like a watch hawker or nerd.
