Seems weird that it would choose to not use that most recent one since it was to the middle of the fairway. I guess since I struggled early with this driver it thinks my true average is lower than it actually is, and is discarding “outliers” on the upper end of my range (when I actually make good contact). Or maybe the fact that we’ll-struck drives are considered outliers is a sign that I need to practice more with my driver… 3 Quote Driver - Radspeed XB, Aldila Rogue Silver 70-S 3 Wood - Radspeed, Aldila Rogue Silver 70-S 5 Wood - Radspeed, Fujikura Motore X F3 6-S 4 Hybrid - Radspeed, Mitsubishi MMT 80 S Irons - Radspeed 5-GW, KBS $-Taper Lite S Wedges - King Cobra Snakebite 52° & 58°, KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 S Putter - Stroke Lab Black Ten 35" Ball - Z-Star XV Powered by

KC Golf 244
I am new to Arccos but the ability to easily exclude or include certain shots on the latest version of the App is great. It actually seems a bit random on what it includes or excludes using its AI. So the ability to select your own seems to make sense. I am fortunate to be selected as an MGS tester for Arccos. I have never given a review before so it’s a work in process but it’s a really intriguing technology. My first impressions were just posted. I would attach a link to it but my pasted link doesn’t seem to work. If people on this Arccos User group have any comments about it please let me know. I have had a couple of people note that Arccos handicap calculation seems too far off from their GHIN handicap. I don’t know if people have found the same thing. Arccos says theirs in more accurate since it accounts for actually my playing conditions like hard pin positions, etc. 1 Quote TSi 3 9.0 AV Raw White 65 Stiff TSi3 15.0 AV Raw White 75 Stiff TS3 21 Hybrid Tensei AV Blue 65 HY Stiff 4 iron 716 AP2 - DG 300 AMT Reg Haywood 5-PW iron Signature - DG S300 Stiff 52 - 09 Tour Preferred EF - KBS Tour Wedge Haywood 56 - 12 KBS Tour Wedge 60 - 10 Tour Preferred - KBS Tour Wedge Scotty Special Select - Squareback 2 Z-Star Official MGS Tester 2021
KC Golf 244
Just posted this in the Official Arccos review, but I thought people on this thread might have ideas… Arccos’ tracking of putts was really a problem on my last round. Does anyone have a good trick on how to get the putter sensor and Link to work well on putts? Do I cover the sensor with my hand when I am waiting for my turn? It usually just adds more putts than I actually made, particularly if others are making short putts near me, etc. Or that’s what I think it’s doing. Hard to tell. I am manually adding or subtracting putts almost every time after each hole. Open to any and all suggestions? Even when they did work, the accuracy seemed pretty poor. I'm sure some of it has to do with the very soft face on my StrokeLab, so I just do it manually and will probably remove the sensor. With the newer grids and tracking of your walking path in the app, it's pretty easy to get fairly accurate placement of putts. 2 Quote Driver: Epic Speed 9* (set -1) Mitsubishi MMT 70X 3W: Tour B JGR 15* Recoil 460ES 3H, 4H: Tour B JGR 19*, 23* Recoil 780ES 4-AW: Tour B JGR HF2 Modus3 Tour 105 SW: Zipcore Black Satin 54* LW: Zipcore Black Satin 58* Putter: Stroke Lab Marxman Bag: BigMax Dri Active Lite Ball: TP5x Pix Pushcart: BigMax iQ+ 2021 Test - Callaway Epic Speed
SD1199 15
My Arccos sensor and Caddy link arrived last week. I have new clubs on order, who knows when they will arrive, likely sitting on a container ship off the coast :). So trying to decide if it is worth it to start with Arccos on my current set or just hold off till the new clubs get here? Any thoughts? That’s a great idea I forgot that I do repair ball marks sometomes with my putter if my repair tool doesn’t do the job. Since you don't have gen1 sensors there is no benefit to holding the putter upside down. The gen1 (original sensors) had a switch in there that turned them off whenever they were upside down. Gen2 and later don't have that and rely upon UV light to "activate" the sensor prior to a shot. If you are getting extra shots being counted then covering up the sensor with your hand would help with that since it will turn it off and it won't recognize impacts from tapping down ball marks etc. Personally, I have the opposite problem. My putter almost never registers any shots. I've gotten 3 different replacement sensors from Arccos (2 superstroke and 1 standard) so 5 in total and none of them reliably pick up putts. I've used the superstrokes on both an odyssey with an insert and on a ping cadence TR which has a cast face no insert. I've used 2 standard sensors on my milled evnroll ER7 and none reliably pick up putts. My setup is very deliberate where I always take a relatively long time at address min 2-3 seconds so I know that isn't the problem and I've had the issue both using my phone and with the link which I had hoped would solve the problem. It isn't just missing tap ins either, I'd say it reliably misses every putt under 40', which is nearly all of them since I hit very few GIR. Getting close to wrapping up my second season with arccos and have yet to find a solution.

It will get you familiar with the system and get you in the habit of using/checking it to make sure it didn't miss any shots during your round. The biggest thing is to make sure it picks up at least 1 putt after each hole or it won't automatically advance you to the next hole which can create big problems where you get 4 or 5 holes of data all dumped onto 1 hole. Also, I'm guessing you probably aren't replacing your entire bag so you can start gathering data on the clubs you aren't replacing right away. You need 4 rounds before Caddie will start giving you data so it's best to get that out of the way as soon as possible. Once your new clubs arrive, just go into the clubs section, click the dots and "manage clubs". From there you can un-pair (don't delete) all of the clubs being replaced and then "add new clubs" for all of the new ones. This will retain your old data for comparison against your new ones.

Hmmm.... I may have to jump on that to give the link a try. In other news, my phone (Galaxy S21) did an update about 2 weeks ago. On Tuesday, Arccos behaved very poorly and the GPS accuracy was terrible. I assume Samsung/AT&T knew something got borked because there was another update on Wednesday, I believe. SD1199 15
Played my 1st 2 rounds with my arcoss link and sensors. Overall I am happy with how the performed. 2 issues I had are 1) not detecting driver, missed about 80% of my drives. 2) extra puts, but those seem easy enough to fix. I kept forgetting to mark the flag on a bunch of holes yesterday.

ARRCOS has been very responsive to my wife's LINK issues along with a sensor problem and thus would give them high marks for that aspect of the business. Currently I'm not a fan of ARRCOS for a few reasons; 1. my expectations with technology today; it should be seamless, accurate and work 100% of the time. 2. The subscription model. 3. The 'dashboard' has everything including the kitchen sin. On the latter, I would prefer a 'light' version which just has shot tracking/stats. I'm ordering Shotscope V3 for myself. So shortly my wife (who uses ARRCOS) and I will be able to run a head to head comparison Tony@CIC, funny you mention ordering the Shotscope V3. I have been playing with it for a little over a year and the only real issue I have (not that it is "small") is accuracy. Once I got used to remembering to set up a provisional shot or add a penalty things went pretty smoothly. But I seem to always have to edit locations, ESPECIALLY pin locations; for me this was more frustrating than just seeing the fairway and approach shots off location. Anyway, chose Shotscope because it meant I didn't have to carry my phone in my pocket and it seemed more...seemless. I recently got an offer to get all of the Arccos for free because I own a Ping club so I paid for the Shot Link in hopes the accuracy will be better. Reading this thread I am skeptical. Reading your note, I hope you like the Shotscope. I'd be interested to hear your comparison. Cheers, Scott 1 Quote Driver - Ping G400 9°, Project-X Evenflow Black 6.0S 65 gr.
