I found that the hole by hole map display won't show up until you plug the watch in the the computer and sync. Garmin Express does it fine.

Panda is right. See from Garmin

Try syncing with Garmin Express on your computer. After trying the sync with Garmin Express, if you still do not see those prior rounds of golf on your online Garmin Connect account or within the Golf APP, please contact your regional Garmin Product Support

Bought the Garmin club sensors a couple weeks ago because they are compatible with my everyday Garmin watch. Have used Arccos (started on 2018 and went back in 2020-2021, worked reasonably well), Game Golf Pro (didn't work at all), and Shot Scope v2 (worked pretty well but hated the watch).

Played nine holes last night and... They're awesome so far. Zero missed shots, easy to add putts, scoring was immediately accurate.

I'm guessing I'm going to lose some of the stats from Arccos. I also haven't played around with hole locations or anything. But if it continues to be this easy, I will not be going back.

I did find that when I first got the watch it would give the hole views after the round if I synced with the phone when a WiFi connection was available.  Then after one of the updates it stopped doing it, and I had plug in to my computer.

Upgraded from the (old old) Vivoactive HR to the original Venu this winter. Had no idea it would start keeping track of where my strokes were. Coming from not having any stroke info recorded to actual locations was awesome. Had almost considered getting the sensors as well, but that was before I knew my watch would do this. Still have to enter which club, but kind of a nice reflection on my round so I can get mad all over again at my poor swings... 😛

I recently upgraded to an S62 (from an S60).  I'm very happy with it, but the shot detection on the S62 seems less sensitive than the S60.

I did try the CT10s with the S60 for a while, but I don't recall it ever failing to detect a drive before I got them, yet I have had several with the 'raw' S62 since I got it  about a month ago.

Has anyone else noticed this?  Or is it just my 'ultra smooth' (pffftt🤣) drives not triggering it.

Got the s62 and used it the past couple years.  Love it.  But since I updated through garmin express I cannot view the holes properly on my phone (galaxy fold 3).  The top and bottom are missing.  You cannot pinch to make smaller or bigger.  Anyone know how to fix this issue?  Maybe I'm dumber than usual lol.

It works just fine on PC.

@Shifty This is in the Garmin Golf app, correct? I just checked one of my recent rounds and didn't have any issue seeing the entire hold (App Version 2.6.1). I'm wondering if it's a bug on Garmin's side and they don't gracefully handle the aspect ratio of that phone? I'm completely guessing with this, but it could be worth throwing a post on the Garmin forums in case they aren't aware. Obnoxious regardless of what the issue is though.

I would agree with @Wojtek, it is very possible the app does not know how to handle galaxy fold for screen aspect.   I had the same issue (screen cutting off top and bottom) when I got the iPhone 13 mini recently, but with a different app.  I had to wait two updates until the app would display correctly on my phone.   It is extremely frustrating.

yes sir.  Switched the aspect ratio of the app in samsung labs, and it solved the issue.

So i have a chance to get a S60 at a good price. Was on the fence on if I should go with that or Shotscope V3. I am leaning S60 since I heard it can sense when you hit a shot and then tell you your distance. Is that true?

I would think yes; my S62 does and there really isn't much difference between the two.  Biggest difference is the life of the battery; easily twice as long as the S60.  If it's a good price though, it might be worth it.  I love my S62.

I’d get all your clubs preloaded so when you hit a shot you can select the club in the moment so you don’t have to do the clean up later.

Had my first major issue yesterday where no matter what I did I could not get the course I was playing to transfer to my watch.  At first I could not get any courses to transfer.  Eventually I was able to get the "Cattail" course to transfer, problem is that I was playing "Devils Claw" course at Whirlwind here in PHX (they have two 18 hole courses)   Typically, the courses show up and and I can quickly transfer after I download from garmin app, if they dont show up I just do a hard restart on my watch and then the course shows up.   Any one else have similar issues recently?    Hopefully, this is just a one time issue, but it was pretty annoying.   I kept looking at watch all round only to see the time...LOL.  Made me realize just how much I it for use to for distances when I am playing.

I have a Fenix 6 and I've had that problem. I've also had to to a hard reset on the watch a few times because the GPS wouldn't locate or recognize my home course.

If I play a new course I've learned to download the course to my watch, not my phone, before I head to the course, because if I don't have the course loaded the watch has issues locating where I am.

I typically do the same, but this was a course I have played numerous times.   Will probably always preload before I leave for the course from now on.

Just entered the Garmin family today with the z82.

so far sticking with Arccos for the tracking as paired with the Apple Watch I have no complaints and haven’t heard much in the way of any advantage to the CT10’s.

I bought a Garmin Approach R10 a little bit over a month ago, and one of the benefits was the E6 Connect free features for PC (one course, and driving range)

But now I can't connect my E6 software with the R10. I have searched for answers, but can't find anything. Does anyone know if there is no more free access to certain features?

My longest drive recorded on course is 404 yards.

Had the Shotscope Pro LX+ last year...ended up losing the H4 GPS unit after it had fallen off the holder several times and I found it several times.  Finally, 3/4 way through the season I lost it and did not find it.  Was frustrated with having to tap the club sensor to the H4...forgetting...and having to go in after the fact to try to remember my shots, hazards, putts, etc.  Anyway, shortly afterward I purchased the Garmin Approach S62, and so far love it.  I am just getting used to how to operate it...and wouldn't you know it...was warm last November (2022), played a round and fell, tearing my rotator cuff.  Had surgery in early February and am recovering...but chomping at the bit to get back out on the course.

Just getting used to...and struggling a bit with the learning curve, but I think I am going to really like the S62.  Anyone here found any site online that gives good, easy tips and tricks for using the S62?  I am thinking about picking up the CT10 sensors this year and have read some really good reviews on them.  Can't wait to try them out together with the S62 and getting some good feedback on my game.  Thanks to all of you for weighing in on everything Garmin.  Really liking the S62 and looking forward to healing and getting back out on the course.

Finally got fitted and ended up with Callaway Big Bertha irons, drivers and hybrids.  Now...let's get out and learn how to use them better and better.  Hit em straight!

I do not have the Pc , I use a iPad my only suggestion would be is to check if your e6 is binded to your Pc.

I have the S62, used it most of the last golf season here. I do not have the club sensors, use it more for yardages, and it does keep fairly accurate tracking of shots even without the sensors. It will miss some shots, but I typically do not use it for that feature. I have thought about getting the sensors, still undecided, and below is a YouTube video which explains it.

The Garmin site also has some assistance features if you have questions or concerns.

Just want to put a plug in here for the Garmin setup.  I have the S60 and CT10 club tags and keep track of all my stats.  The watch/GPS system is nicely accurate and getting distances to trouble on the fly is handy.  Stats tracking is the real game changer as I've been able to see my miss tendencies with each club and really start playing percentages.  Last year dropped 5 shots mostly thanks to this rig.  Highly recommended!

I have a G80 and couldn't live without it. Have had it since December 2021/Jan 2022 and it's saved my ass a few times. can have it as 'plays like' which takes slope into account, or turn that off for tournament play. Can pick lay-up targets and get yardages for them, can pick where the flag is on the green and have a map of the hole as well. It also doubles as a launch monitor which is very accurate, also has training modes such as tempo training which i've never used but i believe is really good. No complaints thus far, a full charge will last me through 4 rounds comfortably, but i usually charge it when it drops below 50% anyway.

Good morning all,

I'm new to the forums. I'm always looking for more connections on Garmin. Message me if you'd like a follow on Garmin.
