Upon further review, reading articles and watching some videos, it appears that the T300s are more firmly in the GI category. Yeah, I know it's all semantics. The T400s, which don't appear to be renewed this cycle, would probably be more up my alley as an SGI.

Still doesn't take away from how gorgeous they are.

These are some of the best looking irons I have ever seen. I can't wait until the next testing event at my local golf shop to try these out. Well done Titleist.

I'm way to interested in the T100's at the current moment. I've had a really difficult time "loving" my P790's over the last year or so. I have played players Irons since I was about 14 and over the last few years I have played significantly less golf than I traditionally have throughout my life due to family commitments. That being said I still have a great ball strike like it never went away, something about the P790's seem too..... improvement-esk (the offset/topline/feel). The T100's on the other hand are pretty much the look, profile, etc that I feel I've been missing out on. It should honestly be criminal good looking these clubs are and I've never been that into the Titleist brand outside of wedges. How much I'm contemplating asking for forgiveness from the wife and pulling the plug on these bad boys. I really want to step out of the Players distance realm and back into the players realm and again.... super super super tempting. Good on Titleist! They are really doing well on the design front.

T200 have my eye!

For those that have not tried the Tensei AM2 Graphite, it is a great shaft if you are looking for some shock relief.  I recently used the AM2 White and it was fantastic.

These are 🔥. I might be in love. Curious to see the back panel on the T200. Hope it doesnt look or feel cheap in person. Could be an amazing combo set with t200 and t100s. I think Titleist hit a homerun here. First release that has tempted me to move on from the Srixon 785.

Curious to hear what anyone used to playing 620MB or similar blades thinks of the T100. I switched from AP2s to 620MB but am interested to try the T100, especially considering how many pros are playing the T100s instead of 620MBs. Also looking to maybe switch out my hybrid and 4i with a new 3 and 4 iron, so thinking about the T200 or the u505, so would love to hear about those.

The 620s are the typical mb, not much difference between them and the last several MB’s from titleist. The t100 is an improvement on the ap2, but those who needed to drop spin had better results with the 100-s.

It comes down to what one is looking for. If it’s more distance and slightly less penal mishits then 100 is a good option

Got to hit the 100-s today. I like them and from a size perspective the 100 and 100-s are very close. Didn’t hit the 100 but will probably test next week.

If I owned the previous 100-s I didn’t see anything in ball flight or feel at contact that would make me want to upgrade to these unless I just wanted new irons. That said since I don’t own the previous set I like the look at address and how the feel with the amt white.

Local shop already had these for testing last week...so, of course I had to do a fitting!

PXL_20210802_154233171.jpg

Tried out the T100s, T200, and T300. Hit all of them about the same distance. T300 was definitely higher flying than the other two and dispersion was tightest with the T200 since it's a bit more forgiving that the T100s. Used a Trackman for all data points and spin was also lowest for me with the T200 @ 95mph swing speed.

Overall, I was fit into the T200 w/ x100 shafts, midsize grips, and +1.25" length. Note about length - Titleist tends to run a touch shorter than other OEMs, so keep that in mind and get a proper fitting!
