I had real trouble last year in the draft understanding what players were off the board with multiple copies. Any tips?

We didn't have copies for football? We had our divisions, i think this is the first time for copies in football. Truthfully no idea, but I don't remember it being tracked for Golf. Best I can suggest is players you want make a spreadsheet and if they are picked make a mark or some sort by them.

Are you thinking that after all four copies of the player are taken his name will come off the big board?

This should be the case. If there are no more copies left or you drafted them already their name should disappear. It did for golf but unfortunately there isn’t a tracker to my knowledge to tell if 1 or 3 copies are left.

Well that's what happened for Golf. You are correct that this is the first year for copies in the draft because we didn't have the commissioners to pull of multiple drafts and divisions after @Bucky CC stepped back from football this year. We thought it worked decently well in golf so are deciding to try it in football as well. If it works the same way, awesome! If not, something to retool for the 2022-23 season.

Also @blackngold_blood, when you are saying top four you mean the four guys who basically get #1 picks, not the top 4 positions, ie 1-16 right?

@daviddvm This was actually a welcome change they added thanks to our feedback and it’s across all the sports now. Previously, a player was on the board until all of their copies were drafted but there was no way to tell how many had gone. Now, there’s an “own” column that denotes how many copies are owned so you can track it a little better.

As of now yes.  I have zero chance of being able to make it past round 4 with this many picks so trying leverage CMC. Of course that could change later this evening after I get a chance to look things over better with our scoring system.

Thanks for the feedback and guidance, this league can be somewhat confusing.

What is the best way to view Fantrax? Website either through phone or desktop or the app? Still getting use to Fantrax and everything it has. Pretty overwhelming compared to the others (ESPN, Sleeper, etc). Any advice is helpful and welcome!!

I view Fantrax through mobile and have a shortcut on my iPhone Home Screen. I do however use my laptop when it comes to drafts as the buffers screen allows you to see players and the chat easier. Especially if you have bad eyes like me.

They’ve been advertising this new and improved draft room for multiple years now but it finally feels close. Sadly, doesn’t seem like it’ll be ready in time for ours. The best way to view the old version is on a proper desktop/laptop. Mobile is a tough ask but can be passable if you’re in a pinch.

I’m pretty sure I already know this answer. But play along.

let’s say I trade for a draft pick that is close to another one of my draft picks. You can’t own more than one copy of a player, correct? Like start Derrick Henry in both of my RB spots. I tried skimming the rules, but didn’t see anything.

Edit: if it’s like the Fantasy golf draft, this is not possible. I had a good thought there for a second. Nevermind guys, carry on and Roll Tide.

Another trade in the books... so now if anyone has interest in moving a 3rd or 4th I'll part with a 5th and 9th to move up. Then I think I should be set for the draft.
