How many amateurs go with one golf brand in their bags?

I have a Ping Driver and 3 Wood, a Callaway 7 Wood, Callaway Irons, one Titleist Wedge and one Callaway Wedge, a Seemore and an Odyssey putter. So I know it is pretty common with the pros because of sponsorships, but how common is it for rank and file golfers to have clubs from a single manufacturer in their bag?
Do you?

Driver: Ping 425 Max; Rogue White 70

3 Wood: Ping 410; Mitsubishi Tensei Orange

7 Wood: Callaway Steelhead

3, 5-7 Irons: Callaway Apex 19

8-AW Irons: Callaway Apex Pro 19

Wedges: Titleist 53 degree, Callaway MD4 58 X Grind

Putter: Odyssey 10 Tour Lined; Seemore Z2

I feel like the only time I see one brand is when someone bought the Top Flite set from the sporting goods store. Bag included.

Living where I do, I see a lot of folks with Titleist bags top to bottom. I've run into a few folks all Callaway, but I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

I've always had a mixed bag because I buy what I think gives me the best value & performance, regardless of the logo on the sole or back.

Am a amateur, play in senior amateur tournaments in my area, 15.3 handicapper, 75 years old, and play only one brand.  Have been fitted by the product specialist from Titleist and found what works best for me.  Had four holes in one with Titleist irons.  Most recent in January.  It is working and no need to change or mix it.

I had a full Taylormade bag for a while.  Plan to have a full Titleist bag soon.

For the same reason why I get my gasoline at the same place, I know it is quality.

Plus I like matching things…. Especially my golf equipment.

I updated my 5 year old set of clubs and got all the latest Titleist driver, fairway, irons, (Vokey) wedges in my bag.  And yes, I play with a Scotty Cameron, too.

I enjoy playing my Titleist clubs this season and my performance has improved.  It's just a personal preference for me.

From my first set of irons through now my 4th set, I've never had the same brand throughout.  Currently all of my woods are different brands from each other.

I used to see it a little bit when I was a caddy. Guys would have Callaway or Titleist top to bottom. Rarely see it when just at the course.

I will everything but my hybrid and putter is Titleist right now. But that's just coincidence I think. I'd swap to any other brand of it gave me better performance.

My bag is a hodge-podge. I had almost all Nike at one point (don’t judge me) but now I have settled for no less than 6 different OEMs!

my brain doesn’t like the asymmetry but I play better now than I did during the Nike days… again, don’t judge me.

Aside from my putter, I play only One Iron Golf clubs: Blackstone single length irons, Dark Horse driver, and 3 wood. Putter is a Sacks Parente #39. This is the closest I've been to a single brand in my bag and I've been playing golf poorly since 1983.

However, when I switched to this current setup this season, I'm playing better than I have in the last 25 years.

A single digit golfer that have played the same brand throughout my bag for many years.  Love to have the same shaft in my clubs and have them custom to have the proper gaps.  I love having the same feel with each club.  I know that very few use my method but I score well and will continue this method as I just bought a new set of irons and woods.  PS - use pings

I notice in double digit handicap, club golfers. My buddies may buy new shiny complete set but within 3 weeks their bags are a mish mash of brands… we’re all looking for the magic club to turn our game around!

I’m not now, but have in the past. My scores never indicated it was hurting me. I think as long as you’re playing clubs that fit you, you can find things that work from every brand from top to bottom. Most of the independent testing shows very little difference among clubs in the same category that are similar in spec.

Part of it is consistency with types of clubs.  It certainly makes sense for all of your iron type clubs (not woods or wedges)to match as the will be more similar in swing weight, look etc.  But woods are totally different than irons, so not nearly as critical for the to "matching".  How many guys have a scotty putter?  It is just bag appeal and a totally different shot, so it doesn't need to match.  What really matters is how far each club goes and do you have good gapping between clubs.  It doesn't do you any good to hit your 4 iron the same distance as a hybrid or a 5 wood.  So it is important to make those connection of "segments of clubs" (PW to GW) that the gaps are correct.  I have often had to find the right next wedge because they keep jacking the PW lofts and still often make the 52 degree GW as the next "standard club".  Currently have a 48 as well since the PW has gone to 44.

Lets not also forget the pros playing all one brand are getting paid lots of money to do so.

Same discussion on playing expensive brands vs cheap.  We all have a little part of us that want to look "professional" (hence the white belts) and there is certain pride in people seeing your bag and being impressed (PXG, Homa, Scotty).  Normally hackers don't invest a lot of money into clubs.  We are all also convinced that we can buy some portion of our game.

If you were really cool, you would go "white men can't jump" method and show up in loose cargo shorts and use orlimar clubs and shoot 73.  That is legit.
