I have a poker chip (love poker) from a local very private course I was able to play about 7 years ago when I won a round from a member donation during my Uncles memorial college scholarship event. Was awesome to win such a cool round from an important memorial. That and I love poker, I have a chip from every single casino in Vegas to put it in perspective.

Xander inspired me.  I think I’m going to start using one of these two beauties to mark my ball from now on… they are like gold medals, only pewter.  Too much ?

So, I have a lot of special markers kept in an old watch box for use on special occasions. For the longest time I used an arcade token with Pac-Man on it from my old local Time Out arcade but lost that in a bag transfer. I also shared @bens197's proclivity for Canadian currency while I was in high school, as well as certain state quarters, namely Montana. I even have a marker from Pine Valley sent along by @jlukes for winning his guessing contest as to his performance at PV.

But now, I just use the magnetic marker emblazed with the logo of the NY Rangers on my divot tool. Why the Rangers? I don't really have a favorite hockey team, but their divot tool was the cheapest on sale at Burlington Coat Factory for 2.99... so Rangers it is.

I have several ball markers. A Kapalua Plantation Course Poker Chip, A Captain America ball marker that is paired with my Birdicorn repair tool, and a Snohomish Golf Course Poker Chip.

I am constantly looking for the "perfect" marker... I used to use a 500 Lira coin, but lost it along the way.  Now I use a silver quarter I found metal detecting, or a 50 cent piece from my birth year.

I bought a set of these "corona virus" markers in different colors at the start of the pandemic last year. Our golf season was delayed by a month and this pandemic has really changed a lot of things. Gave them to my golf buddies to always remember this year (now two?) and to appreciate the time we have on the golf course and never take it for granted.

I also sometimes use a silver dollar of my birth year.
