JerryB 1,152
I've got 20-40 random golf balls, an old Christmas tin full of tees (my tee box, lol), a divot tool I found on the course, two ball markers, a Garmin approach g80, a Wilson glove, a bottle of sunscreen, a bottle of bug spray, pack of gum, and usually a leftover half of a water bottle. 2 Quote Callaway Rogue ST Max D driver Tour Edge Exotics 3 wood and Bazooka 7 wood Titleist 21° and Grand Hawk XR3 hybrids Adams Idea 6-PW Titleist Vokey SM7 50° 54° and C3I 65° wedges Ray Cook Silver Ray IV putter
DiscipleofPenick 4,023
@Alf. S good thing you have a power cart! That's a load to haul every round. I have a CaddyTek 4-wheel cart. In the bag are about a dozen balls, tees, divot tools, ball markers, green & red sharpies. Then I have a little bag with cigar cutter, butane lighter, Band-Aids, ibuprofen, and athletic tape. I have a Precision Pro rangefinder. I usually carry 2 32oz water bottles, unless it's a beer day. Then snacks are nuts, beef jerky, or an apple. I'll have my coffee and Clif bar on the way to the course for early morning rounds. Paul Hedrick 439
Typically I will have a bottle or two of water, some sort of carbohydrates, gloves, balls, tees, rangefinder. I keep balls in two separate pouches in my bag. The first will hold balls that I have purchased, which if my first choice to play. The second will hold 'found balls' which I will use if there is a fear of losing it. BostonSal 565
Everything. I don't like anything in my pockets except a dime for ball marking and a handerchief.. Not even tees or a green repair tool. I don't wear a golf glove [use comfortable wrap type grips instead]. I don't wear any jewelry, not even my wedding band. A watch style GPS gadget is out of the question. [One other reason why I don't like to play on days where carts must stay on the paths: lugging the hand held.] So everything including my wallet, my indoor glasses, my cellphone, my GPS thingy, and definitely a roll of TUMS is in the bag.

Ha, not so much "on," but "around" the golf course, whether we're playing at a country club with amenities that include a pool, or on an overnight trip where it doesn't occur to me that our AirBnB might have a hot tub, or even if we're playing one of the few local courses around here that are near a waterpark. Pittsburgh weather can be all over the place, but a round of golf and a jump in water that feels like the "opposite" of the conditions you just played in is about as good a pairing as any steak-and-Cabernet or soft-pretzel-and-beer. 2 Quote Vapor Fly Pro 1W Mavrik Sub Zero 3W/5W Rogue Pro 3-PW Anser Forged 52/58 Carbite Brass Balls Putter c.2001 ProV1x HyperLite 5 Stand Bag
BIG STU 10,362
WOW some of you pack really heavy. Yeah, I’m amazed at what guys put in their bags for a round of golf. I keep things light. I just got rid of a bag that weighed 5.5 lbs because it was too heavy lugging out of my Jeep and carrying to the range. Im pretty much like you, only I use a Sun Mountain 2.5 14 way bag (4 lbs.) I keep 6 balls, two gloves, a range finder, 2 Martini tees I’ve had for 3 years, a couple small ones for par 3’s, a towel and a water bottle. I can go 4 hours without eating, or just get a banana or some nuts in the morning when I grab my coffee. Now that it’s getting cooler, I’ll throw a vest or sweater in the apparel pocket. If I need more than that to stay warm, I’m heading to the bar for a scotch. 1 1 Quote G425 Max 9*(set at 10*) Distanza Rogue ST Max D 16* NVS Orange Hy-wood 18* Cypher Rogue ST OS 21* Cypher Halo Launcher XL 5-DW Cypher CBX 54* & 58* DG 115 L.A.B. Living in Scotland even in the middle of summer you can get 4 seasons in one day, especially early Spring and Fall. There is a saying "If you don't like the weather, stick around it will change in an hour". You have to be prepared hence the amount of kit I carry. I have 3 cart bags and 2 carry bags, the cart bags are usually stacked with kit that my electric trolley easily carries. The carry bags only now come out when I'm going on vacation and really for ease of transport to and from the courses on holiday. Obviously for the carry bag the amount of kit seriously reduces more in line with what your quoting. Up until this year the carry bags were shoved in the back of the car when I wanted a quick few holes, I put on a pair of spikeless shoes shove the clubs and carry bag in the back of the car and be on the course within 15 minutes but last time out I came off after 15 holes with my back stiff and sore, even with the lighter bag of the 2. 3 Quote WIMB Driver Callaway Epic 10.5' Fujikura Stiff 3W Callaway Epic 15' Fujikura Stiff 3-AW Srixon Z565 Nippon Stiff 52', 56' Cleveland RTX 585 Wedges Putter Taylormade Rosa Daytona Bags 2017 Callaway Org14 Cart bag or 2018 Srixon Z start Carry bag
