Just to reiterate my personal stance...  I like the look.  I own a few pair and wear them for tourneys.  Otherwise it is tan or grey, sometimes black.  I am 100% pants on the course... no shorts.   I also prefer a white hat, but that is another thread;)

I don’t like the all white pants.   The clean white pants are nice and all, but laundry is hard enough as it is.  An never ending story!   Much prefer the khaki or darker or nurtural   Colar!

Used to have a pair, but never actually wore them and got rid of them a while back.  White and I do not pair well.

Hooyah brother, I don't even know if I still fit in my Choker Whites, but they are stashed in my shadow box and honestly I won't even wear a white t-shirt since I retired.  Hope retirement is treating you well Shipmate.

I own adidas white pants for the summer golf and a heavier white RL brand for when it's colder.    I even have some pink golf pants.   They match my pink Ping driver when I use it.    I've been playing golf for 55 years.  Lettered in high school.  I have lots of different colors of pants, shirts, socks, and golf shoes.   I also have several different sets of golf clubs.   I like looking sharp when I play.   Many years ago I had several pairs of plaid pants.   And of course they were in every color.    I wear pretty much what the pros wear.   I like the way they look.   The white pants don't get any dirtier than the other light colors.    And if they get a stain I just buy another pair.   Granted I don't get to wear the white that often.   Maybe they get worn a couple times a month.  But only because I have a large selection of other clothes, and I don't play as often as I used to.   Maybe they are more appropriate for upscale courses.   They would probably look out of place if your foursome is in jeans.  I'm not trying to be rude.  But if you are on the proper course they will not stand out.    And I've even been told they look sharp.   

What's the deal with white pants anyway?   I wouldn't suggest wearing black under ware.   No white pants?   Are yellow pants also out?    What about light green?    Should we only wear tan, gray, black, and brown?   Variety is the spice of life.   Loosen up.

Not my style and don't think I'll be seen wearing white pants anytime in the future. I also have 3 dogs that shed a lot so i avoid white and black as a general rule.

I do not own a pair and probably won't ever. Simply because of the fact that I would get crap on them.

My general rule is pants should have multiple colours, shirts 1. I occasionally break this rule when I’m playing crap. Can’t wear the stupid pants if my game is nowhere. White pants or shorts is a no go for me. Pants only in winter when it’s more likely to be muddy, shorts in summer with my pale legs might make me look nude from the waist down

No and no.  Always been a khaki or navy color  when it comes to pants. Besides you are not supposed to wear white after Labor Day and it doesn’t cool off enough in Eastern NC before then to require long pants.  Of course, I wear short pants pretty much year round anyway - even on some of the cooler weather days.

Besides, my league has an unwritten rule that you can't wear a white belt unless your cap is lower than 3
