ChuckZ
One thing about white pants, they will go with anything and will always be in style. Yes, at 76 I do own a pair of white shorts and wish I could get white pants in my favorite brand of pants. I favor FJ pants/shorts because I like the fit, but they do not make white pants in my size 42, so only stone in the long pants. Everyone has their own style, so if white is their thing, live and let live. Style is something that is permanent and timeless. Style is your own and not guided by fashion really. While fashion pertains only to clothing and accessories, style is not dependent upon clothing and can be associated with anything that makes you look stylish. So style is something that is one’s own while fashion is adapting to what is in at the moment. Style is an extension of fashion as you can use what is in fashion and incorporate it in your own style giving it an altogether different touch. If it makes you feel comfortable, just do it. Just sayin'. 3 Quote DRIVER - TSi3 10.75* - Fujikura Speeder 661 TR S FAIRWAY - TSi2 15.75* - Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 6.1 S HYBRID - 816H1 19.0* - Fujikura Motore Speeder HB 8.8 Tour Spec S HYBRID - 818H1 23.0* - Fujikura Motore Speeder HB 8.8 Tour Spec S IRONS - T300 (2019) - 5-W - True Temper AMT Red 107g-95gm R300 WEDGES - VOKEY SM9 - 52.08F, 56.10S - True Temper AMT Red 94gm R300 Backup Wedge - VOKEY SM7 - 58.12D (Snow flaked "Z" ) - N.S. RickK
I used to own both white pants and white shorts and wore occasionally to play. Lost too much weight to wear the pants and never bought new ones. I did buy white shorts again and I do wear them occasionally. I play golf most every Saturday with a guy who wears white pants pretty much every week. He manages to keep them pretty clean while playing. 2 Quote WITB Driver - Taylormade M6 3wd - Taylormade RBZ Hybrids - Taylormade RBZ Irons - Taylormade RSi1 Putter - Macgregor Smoothie

Jonas Cameron
I worked for a club manufacturer and had to wear pants at all events - regardless of temperature. Was told by my boss at the time that “douchebags” wore white pants. I bought 8 pair from Uniqlo (shockingly nice btw) and wore them every, single, day. Kaboom baby. 1 2 Quote Jonas
bigtmatdaddy
I’ve always been told that if your age or waistline is over 40 you don’t need to wear white pants or a white belt. Unfortunately I’m over on both counts.

artful_golfer
But us ladies love them on our guys! All shapes and sizes. Does my white skort count? My son has white golf pants that always look so sharp. My husband doesn't have white (yet) but has other light colors - pink, yellow and baby blue. I love them all. He gets lots of compliments from other golfers, men and women. The men ask where he purchases them. Dress like you're out to have a fun round. Tip from women - we buy a new pair of white pants each year so they never get too dingy. 3 Quote PXG 0811 XF driver Serene: 3 wood, 4 & 5 hybrid iron r7 Draw, Flex L: 4, 6 - 9 irons Wedges: RTX Zipcore 46 mid bounce; RTX-3: 52/10 wedge; and Tour Action 900 60* low bounce Armlock putter or E-2 Torque custom fit putter Tour B XS golf ball V3

chisag
... Like PeeWee in his Big Adventure ignoring the snakes until he just couldn't any longer, I give in and admit when I was a DJ in 77-78 during the disco craze I worked at some night clubs for extra cash and had a WHITE Polyester 3 piece suit with a red silk shirt. Even Big Stu in some white pants and a white belt on a 95* day with 89% humidity would be less egregious than my disco outfit. I swore I would never wear white pants again and have not. 1 3 Quote Driver: SIM2 Max 10.5* ... AD-IZ 6SR Fairway: SIM2 Max 15/18* ... Tensei Raw Blue 65R Hybrids: RBZ Tour Hybrid 21.5* ... AndySP
As others said, I think the inherent transparency of white pants makes them look weird. I don’t see the appeal, honestly. Because you don’t see them anywhere else, It also screams “golf” a little too loud, which is not what I’m trying to do if I’m stopping somewhere after playing. 3 Quote g400 lst M4 22* hybrid New Level PF-2 pw-7; 902 6-5 hi-toe 51* and 57* M Craft IV
