GolfSpy MPR
I'm sure many of you saw that this past week, a backup putter Scotty Cameron made for Tiger Woods sold at auction--for nearly $400k. It is difficult to imagine, then, what Tiger's actual Scotty would be worth. Meanwhile, the PING golden putter vault is also legendary, with 3,000 gold putters representing every tour win with a PING putter. So here's the question: if the golf gods granted you an epic wish, would you rather have Tiger's actual gamer, the one he used for 14 of his major wins? Or would you rather become the owner of the entire PING golden putter vault? TR1PTIK
Tiger's Scotty for me. It's the genuine article and that makes a huge difference. Kansas King
Would your rather visit the national parks or just have someone sell you the commemorative coins? I think we all know the answer. I would rather have Tiger's Scotty. Tiger's Scotty is an irreplaceable piece of sporting history. That putter alone would have a commanding presence for anyone who is in the same room or even same building as it. If a golf museum was built and both the Ping vault and Tiger's Scotty were displayed, which would get most prime location? I think we know the answer to that too. Both are cool but only one putter out of them all would make people really want to come to the museum. tommc23, hartrick11, cnosil and 1 other
