Probably because you coaxed your buddies into giving me the middle finger. ... I was talking to a lady friend and she said "You are being too harsh on the Yellow Fellow. He has feelings too ya know". Well I thought about it and she is right of course perhaps I have thrown around words like Cowardice a little to freely and probably undeserved. So I publicly apologize. ... Now there, with that out of the way I saw Yellow Ball with a high index player and in the desert and bouncing among the rocks and stones much more than any grass and certainly not the fairway. But to be honest I was not at all surprised to see the bravery challenged Yellow Ball try and hide on the back 9. After skulling YB with a wedge and not for the first time (that had to hurt ) we were looking over the back of the green in the bushes where all 4 of us saw him roll ... but we could not find him. Hmmmmm. Finally after calling off the search I looked up when I saw a hummingbird trying in vane and suck the nectar out of "yellow flower" and there he was hiding up in the tree! How did he get up there so fast? And more importantly should I tell his master for the day? It was then I saw the leaves shaking and decided to just let him sit the rest of this one out. No sign of him in here and we all saw him roll into these bushes?!? A little like an easier version of Where's Waldo, there he is hiding in this tree. A shame he missed me rolling in a 15 footer on 18 to get back to even par, something I have not done since my elbow tendonitis appeared. tommc23, JohnSmalls, Yellow Ball and 6 others 5 4 Quote Driver: Qi10 10.5* ... You are engaging a banter for all to enjoy. In fact I should apologize for just calling you a loser. We all know and most importantly, I know your not. It's part of Yellow Balls persona to be on the edge. You guys hit me with clubs, hit me into trees, ponds with alligators, and yell at me. My only retaliation is to call you guys out in my own unique sarcastic nature. You, sir, have challenged my creative juices the most and it's been fun trying to come up with a creative response. I'm far from a gentleman. Now that Maxfi Tour had that 40 percent off sale yesterday, I know they are going to want to restock Yellow Balls. I gota get busy if you know what I mean. Popular Post Yellow Ball
“Let’s get ready to Rumble” (NOT) Well ole’ Yellow Ball has been taking some well-deserved time off. I have been around and trolling as usual. After hours upon hours of reading I have come to the conclusion that golfers get very cranky in the off season. This seems the happen every year. Yes I’ve been around a while, but this was my first year putting my thoughts on paper so to speak. It seems like a lot of topics have been turning into a pissing contest. Sarcasm has been at an all-time high lately. Here are just a few topics that have me shaking my head. Heck that’s all I got to shake anyway! TaylorMade Stealth driver, Titleist AVX, Can anyone explain this video to me, Dlow206’s quest to break 80, and who could leave out MGS’s beef with Rick Shiels (Ouch). Now I realize that we want to be out on the course and that’s our happy place (for the most part). We want to post about how we played, where we played, how our new piece of equipment is working but we can’t. Mother Nature said “hey take some time off”. Or you can move south. Notice how the boys down south don’t get as cranky in the winter. They get a little cranky when snow birds come down and invade and in August when you can fry an egg on a rock. I get it! But let’s take a minute before we hit send shall we. We all love golf, love the forum, and care about each other. Sometimes people can make a mistake and put something in writing and hit send in the heat of the moment. Take a minute re-read it and ask yourself should I really hit send right now? Re-read someone else’s post and make sure you are not reading into it, re-read your reply and make sure you’re not attacking anyone. We all have our views but we need to respect each others opinion even if we don't agree with it. Leave the sarcasm to the expert duhh ME. I mean look at what I go through every year and I’m still smiling. Oh and by the way to the guy who hit me in the deep pond a week ago, just as the pond was freezing over. THANKS A LOT! By the time I rolled my way to shore it was frozen over at the edge. Luckily it warmed up two days later and I got back out. Look on the bright side the next season is spring. In a little over two months the Master’s will be officially kicking off our golf season. Popular Post Yellow Ball
Ya know I sure wish I knew how to complete my player profile. They say it will make picking testers easier! WELL NOW. Put yourself in my dimples. How do you answer these questions. Age, well I'm only 2 years old but have seen more action than a combat vet. Swing Speed, well it depends on who has me in play at the time. Handicap, well that would depend on who has me in play as well. There's not an option for YOU. Frequency of play, That should be easy enough. I'll say daily. Player Type, please add more options. I would like to see "survivor" Biggest Strength, I didn't see swimming, holding my breath, or finding my way home on the list of options. Biggest weakness, YOU. Yes you, the person that has me in play at the time. Fitted for clubs, That's just cruel. Let me go get fitted for something that its intent is to beat the hell out of me. So insensitive of you. So in the end I guess I can't complete my player profile. The mods were just not sensitive enough to take a poor young yellow balls answer possibilities into consideration. And I so wanted to test something this season. MattF, cnosil, MyWifesSwingCoach and 8 others

Popular Post Yellow Ball
We got a couple of firsts today. 1) Normally I wait until the weekend to fire up the grill and roast someone. But I am so antsy to get the season rolling. 2) I think it's time to break my own rules and pick on some new spy's. This some how reminds me of a song from The Clash. "Should I stay or should I go" Let's see if they can take it! I decided to get a jump start on the golf season and took a short trip down to TX. After a less than stellar drive I found myself in the woods “oh there’s a surprise”. This guy playing me just isn’t the way I want to start my season. I took out my binoculars to scout out another spy and low and behold I see @Larryw playing the Maxfli Tour balls heading my way. He’s a single digit guy so I thought I would tag along and watch the action from a distance. Why get beat up this early in the season, right? You know, usually I try not to roast the new guys around the forum. BUT, I decided to share the love and make as many people welcome as possible. We got a new crop of spy’s and I really wanted to welcome them aboard in my own special way. After a less than stellar shot, Larry's ball found the woods so I high tailed it over there to catch up on some gossip from Maxi. Seems like Larry played Maxi for a few rounds already and Maxi wasn’t quite feeling himself, and was thinking about retirement. So he told me he has been in the woods a few times over the past four rounds and hit a couple of cart paths. I was kind of thinking that’s how he got the road rash on his butt. But then he tells me he was hit into a tree trunk from 40 yards away with a 1 iron. I said "excuse me, did I hear you say a 1 iron!" Well that explains everything! Everyone knows even God can't hit a 1 iron, and this was just another example that mere mortals should leave it at the house. I tried to clean Maxi off as best I could before Larry got to him but I noticed he lost some of his luster. So I wished Maxi good luck on the rest of his round and to enjoy his retirement. I did give him the number of my refurbisher. Edited March 3, 2022 by Yellow Ball Kenny B, cksurfdude, tony@CIC and 8 others 1
Popular Post Yellow Ball
When you mess with the bull you get the horns! Bear with me on this. @RichL85 had a kind of rough day. I’m not going into details but just take it for what it was. He played like crap. The very next day he switched over to a Yellow Ball. His irons were better except for maybe a few chips and putts that could have been sharper. Then hits a marvelous shot into the green on number #11 which was a par 3 to within 2 feet and makes the putt. Then he writes in his post and I quote, “I’m not sure if this guy is related to @Yellow Ball but those things cooperated much better than the balls I used yesterday” Nice Bird on #11 by the way! Well I’m glad the yellow balls worked out for you. There has been a trend recently that quite a few in the MGS community have been switching over. I’m just a trend setter I guess! So here is where the bull gets the horns. Ole @Shapotomous chimes in and states “@Yellow Ball and “cooperation” are not used in the same sentence! So here it comes, his very next post. “I. Played. Horribly. I don’t know where my swing went yesterday.” He couldn’t judge the wind. Played army golf, Left, Right, L, R. then on to Short, Long, S, L and a combination of the two. It actually put a smile on my face knowing that karma is still alive and well. So you pick on a little YB who winds up giving you the horns. Next time be nice. Believe it or not there are plenty of people who just love playing with Yellow Balls! Sometimes I don't mind playing with them either! I said I would never put a hybrid back in my bag but I have been playing a 22* hy off and on here in the desert. I said I would never wear a white belt and now I have 4 of them. Sooooo... ... I also said I would never play a yellow ball so maybe, just maybe when I reach 90 there is an outside chance if I find one in pristine condition and I have run out of balls in my bag and nobody wants to give me one and I am too far from the clubhouse to buy a sleeve of real golf balls and I have more than 1 hole left to play, I guess hypothetically (gulp!) I play a yellow ball that looks like it spend a week in the urinal. So there is always a chance, albeit a very slim one, that I join the lovely ladies above that seem to be very happy members of the YB Fan Club.
