Weather must be crazy out there looking at the scoring through Berkshire's group. He finished 6th, didn't find the grid on the last two sets. Best drive of all the competitors was 328 by Berkshire.

Wind was 20-25 and in their face.  He was guaranteed top 8 in his group after the third set.

Bryson just finished second in his group. Last round he won with a 328yd bomb.  Crazy headwind today.  Bryson is holding his own though!

It’s unreal. My buddy sent me video he took from behind him on the range and watching iron shots fly into the trees at the back of the range you can only just smile and enjoy it

heres one of the swings my buddy sent. The trees over his left shoulder are 275 carry. The pole in the back right further back

Groups announced, Bryson in the later group, 3:45 PST. Top 8 advance to the finals tomorrow. Gonna be a tough ask with the names in that group, Borgmeier, Hogue, Steenberg, Pearman, Casto. This is likely the first time all week Bryson might be in danger of that cut line, so definitely worth a watch.

Yup, just watched his last session and his 200 point win.  I would not have guessed it.  It will be interesting to see if, after this event and back into his next tour event, how many OB's off the tee he has .

Same here. You gotta tip your hat to him being able to jump from tour play and into their world.  Yes, it's smashing golf balls but still a different stage, equipment, and strategy.

If you watch some of Bryson’s YouTube videos both he and Kyle are helping each other. Bryson showed him how to unlock some speed a few months ago

So today's the final, and it's a different format than what you may be used to. I was expecting the old match-play from the WLD days, but that's not it. The open division goes live at 3:45 PST on the stream.

Phase 1: Top 16 all hit against each other like the pool play from the first two days. The top 8 qualify for the next phase. Admittedly, this is where I think Bryson goes out, but with proper tough conditions he might make it through, but it'll be tough.

Phase 2: Top 8 are seeded and broken into two pods to hit against each other. Not sure how many sets, but the top 2 from each pod advance to the final

Final: Top 4 hit against each other, again uncertain of number of sets. Best there is the world champion.

Going to be a very interesting finale.  I think he'll slide into the top 8, but we will see.  I am probably misreading this (as you've already said it), but do you know if the top 16 will hit all at once or 4 driving at a time broken into 4 separate pools?

All 16 should compete against each other in a round robin type format.  Basically you have an opportunity to hit against everyone and you get points based on how you did against the group if four you hit against.  All the prior rounds have been based on 16 players With the top 8 moving on so I don’t see the first round as being any different.  
 

If the course allows for more runout I think he slides into the top 8. The past days have all be mostly carry as the ball,really isn’t rolling. They have been giving some trackman numbers during the commentary and Bryson is mostly using a golf swing with only a couple degrees up.   They said he would do better if he got that closer to 5 or basically a long driver contest type swing to get max carry.

So if I'm getting this correct, Bryson made the final 8, won his round against Castro and now has to take down the Monster from Germany. What a story it would be if he does and then it gets down to he and Kyle.

It’s over Kyle won it went two groups of four then one group of four down to the final 2

What you see there was the result from the four of those players.  The top 2 advanced and Bryson and Castro were eliminated.

Bummer.  Still one hell of a showing by Bryson and glad someone took down The Germinator .
