Shankster
I’ll get an earful, but my Vokey wedges are the worst golf related thing I’ve ever bought. Especially the one that I paid for customization that was something a kindergartner could have done, from Wedge Works… you know, Bambi, right@JohnSmalls? juspoole
There are a lot of ways I could go here. I actually use my precision pro on each approach. My boss has an app that he uses a lot and I have found that the app will be off 10/15 yards at times because it may be he is one foot from it updating it's location. I feel a lot more confident using my rangefinder and seeing the distance, I commit to the swing more. Any Taylormade driver I have bought has not been a good fit for me. I have not liked the feel and although I am probably the longest on a good strike, I'm much more inconsistent and wild with it. Granted these were off the rack purchases but others were as well up until about 5 years ago. Currently would have to say my Skytrak and all of the other components (projector, gaming laptop) that I've bought for it. Don't get me wrong, it's great and is fairly accurate, but I do not have a large enough place in my home for a permanent set up. If I did, i think I would love it, but it's more of a space issue for me rather than the actual components. 10 hours ago, Shankster said: I’ll get an earful, but my Vokey wedges are the worst golf related thing I’ve ever bought. Unsure why you would get an earful, everyone likes and plays different things better. What's great for me is the worst thing on earth for you. No big deal lol. Just curious if you mean the whole package or the stamping? I remember I tried the Callaway MD2 and didn't get on with it at all, but a few of my buddies swore by those wedges. Stamping is atrocious, but I’m just not sold on the whole package either. Those new PING Glide 4.0’s look promising.

Golfspy_CG2
This is a tough one. GameGolf was mentioned ealrier, it would definitely be near the top of the list for me. As for Laser and GPS, I use both all the time. None of them have ever been bad as far as I can recall. I just got the Precision Pro R1 and have't had a chane to use it, but looking forward to it. So as far as waste of money, I'm sure it must have been some balls somewere alng the way I'm sure I tried some very cheap or budget "winter" balls and just didnt' like them. Tom the Golf Nut
This one is different...... I purchased a golf net. It was a big one that you put up and it stayed up. It was probably 12 feet wide by 10 feet tall. Had steel poles but was probably best if put between two trees since it was so big with wind and such. I lived in the woods in CT with three acres, so I had the perfect spot with two trees the perfect distance apart a nice flat area probably 30 yards from the house. I put the net up using the poles and also tying to the trees. After a few days of quality practice all was well. The next day not so much. Seems as though the perfect spot was also the perfect path that the deer took. Yup destroyed. Bent poles, net torn beyond repair, deer tracks all over where he / they struggled to get free. Trashed, went to a pop up and different location going forward. Good idea, wrong location!
