By the time I finished this season, right at the end,  I was all brand new.

Since that last happened in '09, I should be good for quite a while.

We're done for '21.  Morning is too cold.  Afternoon gets dark too early.

If the time zones were straight lines, Boston would be in the Atlantic with the Maritimes and Bermuda, not in the Eastern. .

Those Miura blades are gorgeous, by the way.

I'm curious how new pure blades without all of the modern tech perform with modern stronger lofts.

They look very similar to classic clubs of old which had  much weaker lofts.

Apparently it's not a problem?

Same here, more or less although they aren't all "brand new" and it was nearly 20yrs between new bag/clubs for me.

That's one of the reasons i got some decent iron covers. If i take care of those things, they could last me the rest of my life... and the other being, that if i don't like them in the long run, i can still get five or six hundred+ for them used, lol.

I've got a pretty good bag set up now, but definitely still looking.

Potentially a driver and shaft change before next year.  Will also refresh the wedges - probably to the SM9 by that point.

May add a fairway wood as I currently only have 13 clubs in the bag, but not sure just yet.  Very in frequently used club for me and may prefer a 3 iron driving iron.  I really love the T200 driving iron that I have in the bag right now.  May try the U505 at demo to see if I like it.

Are they definitely keeping the Rogue name for the next line?  Have you heard about any of the upgrades they are working on?

I like the idea of a chipper in another form.

The standard chipper is a shorter club with a longer club's loft, but it's got a very upright lie angle for a bent-elbow stroke.

I'd like to try that sort of a club,  not for chipping [because I like to foolishly lob to the stick instead ],

but for hitting under limbs and hitting low line drives into the wind from the fairway.

Thus, the club would be essentially like a chipper but with a normal lie angle for a club of that length.

A chipper is a far more versatile club than people give it credit for.  Depending on the conditions, I use mine up to 75 yards out and its a great club for hitting a punch shot with.  Not to mention the classic use: greenside chips.  Its pretty much an automatic club around the green.  I can almost always bump and run it to at least 10 feet.

I'm pretty set for '22.   It is probably time for a few Vokey wedges... the Nike's are money but have some rounds on them.

I agree... those Miura's are PRETTY!
