Recommend a graphite shaft that performs like a Nippon Modus3 105.

Recently hit a demo Mizuno head with the Nippon shaft and loved the results. Unfortunately, because of physical issues, I really need the dampening of graphite. Can anyone suggest a graphite to try that would perform like the Nippon?

Recoil 110's. I played the nippon modus 105's for a few years, switched to recoil 110s last year, they feel identical.

Thanks. I wonder if the Recoil 95’s would play the same. I’m not getting any younger.

Besides the obvious of being lighter, they will. You can check their actual weights, but memory tells me that the recoil 110's in regular flex weigh 106 grams. So basically the same as the nippon's.

Yes the difference is just the weight. This was confirmed by UST in a conversation I had with their senior marketing director not that long ago.

I went on a similar mission in the past, but was trying to find something similar to the Nippon 950gh.

One of the tools i used to do some comparisons (did some other research as well using subscription sites) was to look at the Titleist shaft comparison tool. At least the measurements are from Titleist and not from the shaft manufacturers. Here is Modus 105 vs Recoil 95 (they didn't have the standard Recoil 110)

Thanks. Looks like the Recoils are just a smidgen stiffer.
