Tom Weedy
Hello, So I am a 57 year old lefty playing with a Callaway Epic Speed driver and a 90 MPH swing speed tops. I recently decided to change shafts from a 50 gram Project X Hzrdus Smoke IM 50 Gram R flex shaft to the same shaft, but 60 grams. I found a good deal on these OEM shafts at Callaway pre owned, but they tell me I have to reverse the loft angles because they are "right" handed shafts. By looking at the tip, how can I identify this if it's right or left handed?

By looking at the tip, how can I identify this if it's right or left handed? Based on a google search, callaway adapters have underlines on the adapter settings for left handed. RickyBobby_PR
It’s not the shaft that is right handed or left handed but the adapter. From I remember Callaway outs a RH or LH somewhere on the adapter. I don’t recall seeing them on other shaft manufacturers. 2 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1

kgglonghorn
LH callaway adapters have lines underneath the identifiers. but super easy to flip. I use right handed adapters all the time because worrying about a LH adapter is just too much of a PITA.
GolfSpy_APH
Each OEM has a RH or LH sleeve. It doesn't mean it is not compatible with the head though. Just means the the sleeve lofts/lie are reversed. Often people who want a more fade bias in their sleeve will use the opposite hand in the draw setting making it a fade setting. Most will have a LH or RH labelled on them somewhere. I would have to check my LH Epic Driver to see where, but I recall there being a LH on it somewhere... Edit- I don't see a LH on it, but they are all underlined which isn't the case on a RH sleeve so that must be it! Quote as of Oct 31, 2022 (Past WITB) Driver: TBD: Follow here: Driver Shootout!
