LeftyMatt89
Awesome thread. I’d spend 1000 on lessons to tune up for spring. Then the last 1000 I’d get a backup set of wedges same specs (500) and the last 500 I’d get a hybrid (300) to switch in and out with 7 wood or 2 iron and the last 200 I would spend getting my 2 iron restarted with either a Ventus blue 9x or LAGP AXS Blue shaft to match my driver and fairway. The AXS blue are such good shafts with feel and a stable tip. It has already out performed by ventus black 6tx on two sessions so far more testing to come Tom the Golf Nut, MattF, DStar and 1 other 3 1 Quote Driver: TSR3 8 Ventus Red TR 8X Fairway: TSi2 16.5 Ventus Blue 8X Hybrid: Sim 2 - 19 Hybrid Tensei Orange 90TX Irons: P790 4-5 P7MC Raw 6-PW MMT 125TX Wedges: SM8 50.10F, 54.10S - X100 & 58.04T S400 Putter: Lajosi DD201 Pro V1X Left Dash Link to comment

vandyland
Probably need new wedges. I am currently playing a Cleveland CG12 sand wedge from 2010, CBX2 54* from 2018 and a Reg 588 50* from 2013. I think I will need to demo them off grass and would want a variety of shapes/types: Vokeys - I think the popularity of vokeys kind of turns me off but I have access to them through my instructor so I should test them out Equalizer II - These are intriguing because of the V sole and I already have the PTxPro irons which I love. Also I like Hogan's demo program and it is how I bought their irons. RTX Zipcore - Always have been partial to Cleveland so would like to check out their latest offering. Would like to test the New Level M Type wedge but their demo program is closed so that's a no go. Might also check out the Haywood wedges just because they look amazing. Sub 70 also does not have any demo wedges available at the moment. Also thinking I might go with a 51* and a 57* split in my wedges. All part of the experimentation process.
