More lessons with Monte.  For $2K I could get several sessions spread out over the year.  However, it would cost another $2K since my wife would have to go as well.

I've got an in-person lesson with Monte scheduled for next month. One hour lesson plus 9 hole playing lesson. He knows i'm working on the one plane swing and is fine with it. I especially need the playing lesson for the short game help.

It would probably be a new driver and wedges for me.  Really have enjoyed the Mavrik, but find some of the newer models to be a bit better on mishits.  Second would be new wedges.  Assuming there will be an SM9 this year, so would like to try that as I've had vokeys for years.  However, I want to give everything a fair chance this year.

Also, I'm hoping I can put together a work trip to Streamsong with customers, but not sure I'll get the go-ahead from upper management.

Not really. I haven't seen anything of late that I really, really need. But, having to spend it:

  • The upgraded club head data for Mevo+ ($1,000)
  • New set of 50/54/58 wedges with matching MMT wedge shafts (~$700)
  • Stash away the extra $300 for a couple rounds somewhere new, probably Arcadia South and maybe American Dunes.

This is a simple one for me. I just want a new driver. My Epic Sub Zero bit the dust in a who knows what happened incident. Now using my Cobra Flyz plus which I don't hate, but it is much much shorter then other drivers I have used so can't wait till we hear more about the new drivers and take the plunge... even if it would count as a late Christmas gift.

Awesome thread. I’d spend 1000 on lessons to tune up for spring. Then the last 1000 I’d get a backup set of wedges same specs (500) and the last 500 I’d get a hybrid (300) to switch in and out with 7 wood or 2 iron and the last 200 I would spend getting my 2 iron restarted with either a Ventus blue 9x or LAGP AXS Blue shaft to match my driver and fairway. The AXS blue are such good shafts with feel and a stable tip. It has already out performed by ventus black 6tx on two sessions so far more testing to come

A new driver head (already have a shaft that works) - possible 🤫

A new pair of FJ Tour-X - on the way 🙂

A dozen personalised AVX - hopeful 🤞

The other $1500 on lessons - don't think Santa is going to be that generous 😞

Probably need new wedges. I am currently playing a Cleveland CG12 sand wedge from 2010, CBX2 54* from 2018 and a Reg 588 50* from 2013. I think I will need to demo them off grass and would want a variety of shapes/types:

Vokeys - I think the popularity of vokeys kind of turns me off but I have access to them through my instructor so I should test them out
Equalizer II - These are intriguing because of the V sole and I already have the PTxPro irons which I love. Also I like Hogan's demo program and it is how I bought their irons.
RTX Zipcore - Always have been partial to Cleveland so would like to check out their latest offering.

Would like to test the New Level M Type wedge but their demo program is closed so that's a no go. Might also check out the Haywood wedges just because they look amazing. Sub 70 also does not have any demo wedges available at the moment.

Also thinking I might go with a 51* and a 57* split in my wedges. All part of the experimentation process.
