Assuming that that is solid copper, is that a good idea for a wedge? I know that you shouldn't lean on a solid copper putter for fear of bending it; I would imagine that the force of impact on a wedge would knock it all out of whack and that the grooves would not last long.

 

That said, it is beautiful.

I thought copper heads couldn't be made due to EPA concerns. Isn't that why Ping stopped making them?

I think you have the wrong thread. Applications need to go in the testing thread. This one is from 12 years ago.

I'm in the market for new heads and I'm really tempted to try the copper ones - I was thinking they will probably have a bit more feel - but I was worried they will corrode fast or wear faster.

Let us know how they last...

Great looking wedge! I am not familiar with copper wedges. How do they hold up? Are there any durability issues?
