Just so you guys know, we've reached out through Fantrax to that player to perhaps compare emails to make sure we have the right one and are putting plans in place for a potential switch. Also, goes without saying if we don't hear from him... well he won't be back.

I'm very uncomfortable with my current record.  I'm used to the slow start and finishing strong, barely getting into the playoffs, and seeing myself out after round one....

But I don't hate being second right now.

I think this next week will be very telling for a lot of teams. 
Nearly all the main guys will be playing with the exception of a few (DJ, Rory, Kokrak and others off the top of my head) so we could see the full capabilities of a few teams.

So, while I'm busing doing my real life stuff (I know, I know, I should be focusing all energies here) @STUDque and I have discussed it and will likely be replacing Matt BFG's team owner in short time. Apparently he was a holdover from last year and now doesn't even have a forum account if the tagging of @GolfSpy_APH is to be believed from the 2021 thread

OK just for the record,I still haven't figured this out, but I am closer. Apparently the green check mark doesn't mean that player is in the correct Tourney or does it, I don't know. I managed a few wins week 2 but was pissed after week 1, Flipping 0fer BS.  I hate to loose. 

Someone offered me a trade that I thought was kinda trying to take advantage of a newb. I sent them a counter and apparently an even swap isn't their idea of a good trade. 

 

Hopefully I get a few wins this week. I checked my players to make sure they are playing the PHX Open and just the friggen green check mark (my dumb ass fault). Just need to put more time into this to claw my way back from the depths of buffalo Bills well.

Yes,  if they have the green mark by their name, they scheduled to be in this weeks event.   They can still withdraw from the event.   When browsing the available player, in the drop down, you can select to only see players that are in the upcoming event if you are looking to pick someone up.   
 

eveyone wants to get a good deal in trades.  There are pros and cons to every player.  Some players may be lower ranked but play more so you can leverage them to get more points weekly.  Higher ranked players generally finish higher but play less.  It is about finding balance.

Trading can be tricky. Everyone values players differently and even though some names are obvious draws it is often others that produce more points as they play more often. With the start sit format and needing 5 each week guys who play more will often outscore someone like Lowry because he may only play 12 or so events of our season and someone like Ghim will play 22. In that case who would you rather have? Some guys the name, others who play more. So with that what is a "fair offer" can be viewed many many different ways.

I get that and that's what I thought till I looked it up. I tried to send back what I thought would have been fair and also giving up Xander I think is who it was.

All in the eye of the beholder I guess, just like Football. We value our players higher than what they probably are.

I did send one... I didn't actually realize you had Fleetwood and he is someone I've been targeting. So if he is available great! if not all good!

Not going to lie I thought I could maybe sneak one by getting Palmer from his Wednesday Drop... @revkev had other ideas dropping $56 on him! Very solid pickup for someone who I expect will be a solid contributor rest of season. However that wasn't the big spend of the week @kahl2069 got his guy dropping $100 (second time this has happened this season) for Sahith Theegala. 

Probably the most I've seen spend on a Thursday morning, but nice to see guys investing in players they want and going out and getting them!

I think a lot of us tried to get Palmer once we saw him dropped.  I low balled the offer hoping no one would see him but I guess I missed out.

Wow! I haven't attempted picking anyone up on waivers, have looked at a few and had zero idea what to bid! Those are crazy spends IMO, but what do I know! This is my first go around with fantasy golf and any fantasy sport in years. Having fun so far but definitely feel at a disadvantage because of my lack of experience / time / and forgetfulness LOL
