Got the press release today about SeeMore's new SiSeries of Putters. I'm more of a mallet guy so these definitely fit my eye better. Out April 2010.

SeeMore Introduces New SiSeries Putters

New line offers RST technology, softer face inserts

(FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) The SeeMore Putter Company, whose putters' performance has become legendary with the world's best players, introduces its new SiSeries for 2010. The new putter series combines the proprietary and proven alignment benefits of SeeMore RifleScope Technology (RST) in a new line of putters featuring injection molded TPU face inserts (thermoplastic polyurethane) for a softer feel and the lower rebound characteristics preferred by many players who choose soft insert putters.

“The SiSeries is something that the avid fans of SeeMore's RST technology have been asking for over the past few years,” said Jim Grundberg, SeeMore Managing Partner. “These are classic designs that expand the scope of possibilities for golfers wishing to benefit from SeeMore's patented alignment system. The face insert offers a new option in terms of feel and roll, while first and foremost still allowing the golfer to improve his or her set up and alignment and address and make a consistently better stroke and make more putts.”

The SiSeries putters will sell for $165 and will be available in stores April 2010. The series includes 3 distinct models, with several shaft options, to appeal to a variety of player preferences.

Si1 is a mini mallet design with center straight shaft design

Si2 is a classic heel/toe blade with a near center straight shaft design

Si2w offers the same head design with an offset “whistle” shaft option

Si3 is a classic mallet with a near center shaft design

Si3w offers the same head design with an offset “whistle” shaft option

I could see where some players would find this concept very desirable - pairing insert technology with SeeMore's alignment system. Not my personal cup of tea (not a fan of inserts) but perhaps the best of both worlds for fans of Odyssey and other insert putter lines.

Nice looking head shapes, but I'm not a center shafted guy, an insert guy, or a RST guy, so I am not the guy for these putters.

Put you down for two then?

I was very surprised when I messed with one of SeeMore's that it had so much toe hang. I assumed that the CS meant face balanced.

I had an older one for a minute and I couldn't stop watching the red dot.

That's a good point, they aren't as center shafted as they look, it's a little more towards the heel and does provide lots of toe hang.

Easily 6 o'clock on the one I messed with.

No clue about the milling LaMont, but curious too.

Sort of like the Scotty Cameron Studio Select 2.6. It's straight shafted but not center shafted.

whistle shaft is an offset shaft. Not a fully offset by half of an offset. Milled putters are made in USA.

Thanks for the info. Welcome to the boards. Best of luck on tour too.

(assuming you are the company with the same member name :D )

Can I ask "Why whistle?" rather than 1/2 offset?

  • 3 months later...

The Seemore putters had an extremely good feel to them without an insert. I tried one of these putters out the other day and I do not prefer the insert feel at all. The heads seem a little lighter as well. The FGP is still one of the best Seemore has made and will stay one of the best and a part of history too (Payne Stewart in 99)
