BNewton51 544
Another thing that just came to mind... As I'm getting older, only 48 but feel older some days... I find that I do have pain in the hands sometimes. Early onset arthritis I'm sure. Has anyone been in the same boat and considered larger grips or have specific grips that you find help with that sort of thing? I do find the Midsized MCC's help a little bit as they are bigger, but still have some issues at time with that. Has me thinking about if I shouldn't explore something a bit bigger and or softer to help with that sort of thing. Just in case anyone had any thought's I was throwing that out for additional conversation. fixyurdivot 16,643
I switched to Golf Pride Align midsize (from the PING ID8's on my G410's) and really like them. While test hitting the ZX5's at a Srixon Demo, the fitter noticed the wrap of my fingers on the standard size grip - as in too much. I actually found that to be quite perceptive and amazing. He handed me the same shaft with a midsize TV360 grip and it felt great. I also tried the Plus 4 (larger fore-section) but didn't care for the added pressure on my right index finger. Having made the decision to order the new irons with midsize, I then turned to some forum threads on the subject and that eventually led me to the Aligns. The fact that they also matched the red/black accents of the ZX5's had absolutely no bearing on the decision whatsoever... simply a mere coincidence . 2 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)
Syks7 943
Years ago I really favored the GP MCC Plus 4. Across the board for my whole set. Last couple years I pulled back to your standard GP Tour Velvets for my irons & GP Zgrip for my Driver, Woods, and Hybrids... -- Standard size with and extra wrap on the lower portion on the tour velvets and -- Mid size with same extra wrap on the Z-grips. 1 Quote Driver: 2016 M2 -- Fujikara ventus red 3 Wood RBZ Stage 2 - Diamana Blue Board 2 Hybrid RBZ Stage 2 -- True Temper Elevate Tour (shares duty with 3I depending on the day) 699pro - 3I Driving Iron KBS Tour (shares duty with the 2 hybrid depending on the day) 699pro - 4I, 5I - 639CB 6/PW -- True Temper Elevate Elevate Tour RSI2 -- 4/PW- Nippon Modus 115 (Testing) Cleveland CBX2 48° & 54°-- TT Elevate Tour Hi Toe 58° -- TT Elevate Tour Innovai 6.0 CTR Ball: Zstar XV Divide
pakman92 452
I have iomic Sticky 2.3 on my irons. It’s been a couple of months and I like them. They do feel tackier then tour velvet I’ve always used. They feel smaller in my hands even though they are standard size. Real test will be how durable they are. 1 Quote Epic Max LS 11.5° (10.5°+1) w/ Graphite Design Tour AD IZ 6 stiff Epic Flash 3 Wood 17° (15°+2) w/ Project X Even Flow Green 60 stiff Super Hybrid 21° (20°+1) w/ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Orange 80 stiff Rogue Hybrid 5 (24°) w/ Aldila Synergy 60 HYB Graphite stiff 2021 P790 Irons 5-AW (1° flat, weakened lofts) w/ Aerotech Steelfiber i95 cw regular CBX2 Wedges 54°, 58° w/ True Temper DG 115 Wedge flex Odyssey White Hot OG #1 Stroke Lab, 33 in Pro V1 Bushnell Launch Pro

They enjoy it and it seems to work well for them doing exactly what you're looking for, eliminating the wristy handy swing. Hopefully that does work for a while. But you know as well as I do we are all tinkerers so change is inevitable. Haha that is so true. Well so far in 7 days in 2022 no changes. Not even a grip. I like for full swing grips anything with cord for the summer. Right now in South Carolina doesn’t really matter but in hot and humid I need at least a little cord. In addition to Mcc grips I like Lamkin full cord players grips they are a little more grippy than the tour velvet cord. Either way I hope to keep clubs and grips as long as possible, the stealth has me intrigued but no movement yet by me haha 1 Quote Driver: Rogue ST 9 Ventus Black 6TX Fairway: TSi2 16.5 Accra RPZ Tour 472 M5+ Hybrid: G410 23 Ventus Blue 10X Irons: Apex TCB 5-AW Modus 130X T100 4 iron Modus 130X Wedges: SM8 54.12, 60.08 Modus 125 Wedge/60.10 LAGP L Series 120 Wedge Putter: PLD Anser Pro V1

MrHogan 18
Played with Lamkin Tour full cord for years, then switched over to the GP Tour Wrap (liked the tackiness). Recently I purchased a used Mizuno Type ll driver and it came with an Elite grip. Similar to Iomic in terms of tackiness but firmer. Liked it so much, I purchased 2 dozen. Unfortunately I had to import them from Japan (couldn’t find a dealer in North America). A bit pricey like Iomic, but I think they were worth it. They come ribbed and non ribbed. 1 Quote Ping G425 Max - Tour AD Di Callaway XR 3W 15* Speeder 565 Ping G30 5W 18* 757 Speeder Mizuno MP20 HMB 4-P, NS Pro Modus Tour 105 Hogan VKTR 21* hybrid Hogan EQ wedges. 50*, 56*. Bronco 1
For years I used Golf Pride tour wrap C2 midsize White. They are long lasting, and a little soap and water brings back the tackiness. The white color shows up nice around the greens. That being said, I had a full bag fitting this summer and I switched to the Golf Pride CP2 Wrap. I've really enjoyed using them. I don't wear a glove and I get plenty of grip and the less taper is really nice for gipping down. They'd be perfect if they made them in white.
HDTVMAN 155
I use a midsize and just switched all my woods and irons to Lamkin Sonar+...they are amazing! My 2021 Ping putter came with Ping's Lamkin Sink-Fit Pistol, also amazing. I've used Golf Pride, Winn, and Superstroke, but these new Lamkin grips are the best. 1 Quote Certified Club Fitter. Bulldog91711 1
I use the Winn DriTac LT Midsize. As an older golfer, it gives me a much better feel for the club. I’m striking all of my clubs much better because I’m more comfortable with my grip. My putter has the Saplize oversized putter grip. I love the control I have on that too. 1 Quote ️
Duffer-P 8
Regular 'ole Golf Pride Tour Velvets with 2 extra wraps. Rain or shine, warm, hot, or in the 30's, they feel like the same grip to me. Tried others, but these work for me in all conditions. I get a full season out of them with basic maintenance of Windex washes maybe once a month. 550025KV 6
I'm a no glove guy and have played full cords or a very firm grip forever. Currently playing the Golf Pride Z Grip cords. I tried to save a few bucks and went SuperStroke S Tech ($6 vs $11 ea) and cut them after a month. Horrible feel for me and a waste of $50. MacMan 18
Always been a big fan of Golf Pride MCC payed for years with them in black/white, but don't like the +4, too thick under my right (lower) hand... I have chunky hands and find thicker grips uncomfortable- more recently I have switched to Lamkin Crossline Std. As my PXG 0211 DC irons came with PXG Lamkin Z Grips which are almost as good, so match with the Lamkin Crosslines in the Driver & Wedges... Lamkin Deep Etch Pistol on my Rife RG1 putter too... 2 Quote "They called it golf because all of the other four letter words were used" Raymond Floyd
