My Golf Spy Blog Staff Writers-An All Star Bunch!

I think we should all give a big shout out to our staff of writers.  @GolfSpy Barbajo @GolfSpy Dave @Tony Covey MGS @GolfSpyC

They all have had an incredible amount of articles to write with not a lot of lead time this week.  By the time the OEM's got the product and product info to them, a lot of their time over the holidays was spent writing the First Look pieces we enjoyed yesterday and a lot more to come in the coming weeks.

They all have worked years in the industry and developed relationsips with every OEM in order to get the access and true informataion about the industry and prodcuts that so many other memebers of the media dont' take the time to do. 

As I've always said, it's the best golf editorial staff in the business, and I know and have seen a lot of them.  So we should be thankful we have them for another great year of conent coming in 2022! 

Also a big thanks to the HQ Staff that doesn't get the spotlight but put a ton of work into scheduliing, editing and photogrpahing all the content we read on a daily basis.  Thanks to  Harry, Miranda, Phillip, Bennett and Emanuel.  

Then  of course there's @GolfSpy_X (Adam) who without him, no of this would be possible without his vision and leadership.

No thanks for Harry?    I know he has been doing a lot of the photography and photo editing.  There is also other staff at HQ that aren't listed on the team list on the main page......I'd tell you their names,  but I have already forgotten    i am just terrible with names.

Oh man thanks for catching that.  I had harry down but must have backspaced too far when deleting something.

Just so everyone knows Harry and Phillip were both responsible for many of he great prizes we had during the Majors Pool contests! 

So no way we could forget Old English!

GREAT post.  This team has clearly been working hard and provided some quality no-nonsense insight.  @Tony Covey MGS’s willingness to opine that Callaway has probably gone to the well one too many times with the new Rogue line, for example…gold.  You won’t find that kind of candor among the pandering of other sites/publications.

Great post and recognition indeed.  I really enjoy their articles and find them well written and informative. I didn't see Chris Nickel's mentioned but he gets a shout out too .

I used to come only for the forum and only occasionally check out the blog.  Over the past year it's really switched to a 50/50 split so thank you guys for creating meaningful content that's a joy to read and learn from.

And thanks for popping in the forum, feels like it's been a while since anyone other than Barba has been in from the main page side of things

Always good to see former Forum Directors active as well.  Unfortunately so many former MODS don't stay active after leaving, thanks for sticking around and contributing. 

Maybe we need to create or have a badge showing former MOD/Admin Status

As far as golf equipment articles go. My golf spy does it the best.

I look forward to these group reviews every year.  Question:  in the past, the articles included tables with data for all the clubs (launch, spin, ball speed, etc).  Is that no longer being done?  I really loved seeing that data.

Personal Opinion with a little input from HQ.   I think things are still being worked out with the new website and the data you are looking for will be incorporated into the head to head comparisons.   

I'm with you though,   I like the table of data and being able to sort through it.
