My vote is Apple valley looking at the choices websites. It looks the most fun.

Lol, just flatter when compared to Stanley Thompson. Speaking of, what's Denison GC like? I'd make the trip down to play that one in Cbus.

I haven’t played it before but if you wanna make the trip down I will gladly join you in a fun day of Donald Ross punishment

That sounds good. We should try and set something up. There's quite a few central Ohio courses I want to check out and I need excuses to make the trip.

If we are going in April,  either of the courses to the south. Maybe we get a little warmer weather and drier conditions. I would vote for Deer Ridge, a bit closer to me and easier to get to, but fine with either. Manakiki always a winner, but being closer to the lake we could have rough weather early in the season.

I'm in Cincinnati. I've been following the Ohio discussions, but haven't chimed in because it's been unlikely I could make it for most of the options discussed. If you choose Apple Valley for May 14 or 15, I might make it! It fits my target of under three hours driving (just), and at present that weekend is free.

I would prefer a track south of Cleveland / north of Cbus area, to make it a 2 + ish hr ride.

Driver - 44.5" 5.0 flex 10.5 deg Graphite Design XC 6S GP MCC4+ 1 deg closed

Irons - 5-pw, GW stnd length 5.0 flex same grip 1 deg flat. Type low medium offset cavity back, no diggers

Wedges - 56 and 60 tour grind wedge spinner and mcc4+ grip 2 flat 10 and 8 in bounce

Putter - Makefield VS LH

Ball - truvis

Carried in a Sun Mountain C-130 USA bag - BE PROUD.

HC - LH but 85 is a good number, playing in Ohio.

I’m likely out in Apple valley unless car pooling is an option! Manakiki I am in for. It’s only a few minutes away from my house. Depending on what rate I can negotiate at the course we may be able to play stonewater if anyone is interested

Played north of Columbus once, Apple valley looks like a winner. When the date is solid just let me know

If you can get to me in Tallmadge, we can car pool. Or if I pick @MaxEntropy up, his place in Akron. I can probably get some time off to play Stonewater.

Not sure if this is appropriate to mention in this thread but if I do attend, it's possible I will still have my set of 2019 T200s 4i-GW for sale then. So, if anyone is interested and wants to see them in person, I will bring them.

Never played Apple Valley, looks like a very nice layout.  I might be able to join on either the 14th or 15th depending on what y'all decide.

Manakiki is one of my all time favorite courses in the Cleveland area.

This might turn into one busy day for me...

Quote

Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend and the rest of The Who be performing along with a local symphony May 15, 2022 at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati during their upcoming “The Who Hits Back Tour.”

Though, if i had to choose, I'd pick the outing and then see The Who Oct9 in Cbus.

Why there isn't a flyover for the front 9 also, I have no idea but it does look like a great course tucked into its beautiful rural setting. Nice choice fellas.
